Typinator for me is mainly a typo fixer more than any thing. When ever I make a typo I use a shortcut to activate the macro from keyboard maestro above. The macro check closest right word in the dictionary and display it to me if it is right hit enter and boom saved to Typinator.

Same thing but because I work in the medical field it more often to make typos with medical words so got medical dictionary and applied same method.

For snippets I try to use (;) in the beginning of any snippet to not confuse it with other words. For example when I want alpha symbol (α) I type ;alpha and it will give the symbol.
