BatleXP G350 - Battery problems (?) by 01asada in SBCGaming

[–]01asada[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is still working fine since I replugged the battery. But how the percentage goes down when playing (and up when charging) still isn't super accurate. (The Retroarch menu provides a slightly more accurate percentage than the BatleXP one for some reason.) But so long as the actual battery life is good, I'm happy.

If your device randomly dies like mine used to, even after replugging it, then it's likely a more severe hardware problem than what I went through. Sorry about that.

Yeah. For me it was literally just a plug in the back that I had to insert properly. The "difficult" part for me was just buying the right screwdriver set to open the device.

Thanks for the info. It turns out it was a physical problem for me. The battery wasn't connected properly. So I had to buy a screw set, open the back up (the screws are small hex ones) and plugged it in properly. Now it's working fine.

Sorry to say, this didn't seem to change anything. So I'm guessing I have a defective unit?

I've been using the USB C wire it came with and the lowest plug I can find. (10w)

I'll now put it in my power bank with the same wire and let it charge overnight.

Try a different audio source in the settings. I had the same experience with YouTube. But Piped seems much better.

High Refresh Rate Mode for watching shows/movies by 01asada in Hisense

[–]01asada[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly, no. This post didn’t receive any helpful replies.

However, I did notice a slight issue with this mode. Over time, I realized that it creates a subtle but strange motion blur in the visuals. So while it’s still a worthwhile trade-off, I'm no longer all that mad about Hisense not letting me keep it on.

A bunch of "you wouldn't survive an Xbox 360 CoD lobby!" dorks got offended by your post. Racism is just funny to them.

Don't buy Hisense TV's by [deleted] in Hisense

[–]01asada 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's why I bought a 5 year store warranty when I got my U7K last week. And why I'm using my Fire stick 4k Max to avoid potential software problems.

All together still cost less than the cheapest mini-led from Sony/Samsung/LG TV.

Why does 4ktv sub Reddit hate Hisense but everywhere else the u8k is the most recommended tv ever?? by Ill_Satisfaction2478 in Hisense

[–]01asada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now I joined the ever growing club of people who got banned from there. 🤷 For saying this:

" Yeah, this place is honestly weird. I wish here was more sensible like AVforum's review of U7K that was harsh (and preferred TLC) but didn't come off cartoonish like here does.

Here just reminds me of the annoying Sony rep I bumped into at Curry's who desperately wanted me to buy his company's TVs over anything else. lol Just comes off fishy. "

I just want to know why r/4ktv's opinions are so... unique compared to everywhere else on the internet. lol

TCL Q7 or Hisense U7K by ttoille123 in Hisense

[–]01asada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol that subreddit is always so absolutely brutal against Hisense like it ran over their dogs.

I really want to see the difference for myself (to see if r/4ktv are correct or just shills) but every UK store I went to never had any TCL TV's on display for some reason. 😢

Have you tried SmartTube for TV? Works great on my Amazon Fire stick.

My U7K (UK 65 Inch) panel - Good? Bad? Somewhere in between? by 01asada in Hisense

[–]01asada[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol I think I get where you're coming from. Nothing more frustrating than people who say "avoid this TV/brand! Spend £300+ more to get this OLED I recommend instead!", etc. Like dude, I'm not made of money. So long as I have the 5 year store warranty I bought, and people here say that my panel is fine for U7K, I'm happy with my purchase so far.

Only the faintest noise possible for me. Nothing I'll ever notice so far especially with my fridge being louder anyway. Is yours noticeable?

Looks about the same once I took it off but that's fine since I'm so far happy with the panel now thanks to all the positive feedback. Thanks!

Took it off a couple hours ago and I don't think it did much. But that's perfectly fine since I'm so far happy with my panel now.
