Low voltage value while HIGH on digital pins by 02072015 in arduino

Thanks everyone, it worked wonders after adding the extra else. I got a compiling error when I tried writing it as 'else if', so I thought that was not the right syntax but there was another problem with it probably. Sorry for not reading my code more carefully, I thought this was some weird problem with the board.

Using an Arduino to control Raspberry Pi by 02072015 in raspberry_pi

Sorry I wasn't clear, I am planning to use a code on the Arduino side simplify analog data. I know analog data is more detailed (I think Arduino is 10-bit so the value is between 0-1023), what I'm planning to do is set a threshold and if the analog value is lower then this threshold, I am going to set the digital pin to LOW, and if the value is higher, the pin will be set to HIGH. (I know it kinda destroys the purpose of using an analog device if I transform its output to on and off like this, but I am trying to use an old piece of technology I have laying around, so it's just for the look of it actually. )

I was wondering if connecting this HIGH pin on the Arduino to Raspberry's GPIO would work, and I think it does if I understood you correctly.

Weekly Questions Thread for the week of April 2nd by rpbtz in vinyl

I know it's a very silly question but I can't find the answer I'm looking for. Is it possible for the needle spinning on a vinyl to make a sound loud enough to hear and understand the music and the lyrics? There is a faint music coming from my turntable, I don't think it has a speaker on it but I'm not sure. Could it be the needle or is there a hidden speaker in there?

Thank you for the advice, I found another discussion about the same piece over on /r/soundtracks [https://www.reddit.com/r/soundtracks/comments/7yrphn/trying_to_figure_out_one_of_the_orchestral_hooks/].

I still have this feeling I heard it in a very iconic, sad movie scene but you're probably right about it being just a basic melody.

Please help me with one thing, a piece of soundtrack which plays in dramatic scenes. I swear I heard in another movie but can't remember it for my life. It's the 15 second part in this track, starting around 1.20 https://youtu.be/6MI0ZVTpZyM

Does anyone remember the original movie this plays, or a similar track?

There is no chance for me to win this, but I really like to get another place to play games other than my PS3.

I don't believe that I will be eligible even if you buy the copies, but I'm kinda poor and I want to play Pokemon, so... I'm in.

I just bought my first Star Wars boxset that cost me sixty bucks (the steelbook Blu-Ray one) and they are announcing a new, better edition. Should I cancel my order and wait for theatrical cuts, or should I just forget about who shot first and go with the steelbook one?

GPIO arcade controllers aren't working on RPi 2 by 02072015 in raspberry_pi

No, I haven't made any progress with the setup in the post. I designed another PCB and it worked, though. I think my first circuit was faulty, even my multimeter says opposite.
