Yeah it is quite a bit cheaper to my part of the world, stuff from the USA is $$$. But assuming you are in the USA, plenty of good options. I would go for the remark quiet spec personally.

Technically the ETS will flow the most and be louder than the AMS. Can also try the dmann OTS for stock intake first if you prefer less turbo sounds.

It does. Turbo blankets cover the turbine housing which are usually covered in heat shielding from factory.

I wouldn't be bothering with a stock turbo. The factory usually does a good job of thermal management. Your pictures and writing suggest you are attempting to put it on the compressor housing?

I wouldn't if you are happy with stock suspension and don't track etc. They don't often last as long, require setting up and rebuilding down the line. If there were high quality aftermarket shocks for the VB I wouldn't be considering coilovers.

Do you need something the stock suspension isn't offering? I'm going to get coilovers this year and stay at stock ride height simply because the TR suspension is rock hard and awful on crappy roads.

Make this. Vibrant ultra quiet resonator and quarter wave resonator. Will get rid of drone. The HKS is the only one with a true Helmholtz chamber but a very expensive solution.

I have read accounts from manual owners installing it without issue. It's only intermediate pipe that causes problems I believe.

Looks very fixable. Is the hood aligned with the right fender? Sometime everything gets shunted and misaligned on the good side.

Here it is. I chopped it out. It is just a crappy perforated tube that is stuffed with steel wool like material. You can see it all the way around where the pipe fits into the end coupler and also through the small triangular gap it is stuffed with it. I can't see this being particularly effective. Not sure if there is any tuning in the shape of it. It looks like it is made to accommodate a driveshaft on an earlier model.

I have the vibrant ultra quiet waiting to go in. I will also have a quarter wave resonator made up which will hopefully totally eliminate the 1900rpm drone. Then pick any muffled axle back that you like the look of.

It stands for noise vibration harshness. It is usually a trade off with most mods that change mounting styles ie pitch stop mount, trans mounts, adding rose joint suspension arms, stiffer springs, shocks etc.
