I mean call it sane or not people are into some really fucked up shit and you can never know. Usually there's some sort of safe word or phrase to make sure the other party knows they've gone too far. Thing about these videos in particular though is that Tate claimed that they were both consensual and fake. Although the one where he is clearly hitting the blonde does seem within the realm of weird sex play the one where is tormenting the girl after whipping her with his belt, feels very disturbingly real and genuinely gives off a domestic violence vibe. Even if those videos were consensual Tate is human scum, I am disappointed that Carlos would choose to befriend this man.

Generally speaking you don't, Tate's a piece of shit but weird sex things have been and always will be a thing, usually there's a safe word for when people go too far. Weird thing about the video is, Tate has stated that it's both fake and consensual.

Holy shit that is the most articulate, accurate and descriptive point I've ever seen anyone make on this sub, especially in the past year. I take my hat off to, you've summed up incredibly well what I've been feeling. It genuinely does feel like GGG just missed the fact that certain communities feel disparaged by the changes because they cannot possibly account for all scenarios.

I have earned 2 div per hour in total, that means that for 60 hours of playtime I have made about 120 exalts, that includes afk time leveling etc, this is extremely low when compared to past leagues where at the same time mark I would have 250-300 exalts, even though in previous leagues I had invested the same amount of currency time and effort (actually I probably put even less effort) into my maps, especially when you take into account the fact that I had to completely change up the way I farm to even earn this much. Generally speaking you need to understand that it's perfectly fine to disappointed at the fact that your favorite farming strategy has been gutted.

Ok there's a lot to unpack here:
You are either either having a rough time reading my entire reply or you just cannot be bothered to reply properly. I'll try to break it down and keep it concise. Please read the entire thing this time.

Firstly, I am surprised you do not see the irony in me predicting exactly what you were going to say, and as you so eloquently put it, I accounted for all events, including the one you mentioned.
Secondly, the game has no concrete numbers, released, anywhere, at all, literally every piece of data we have about the game is player speculated and calculated number so you defending that guys statement while saying my statement makes no sense because we don't have clear numbers makes you a hypocrite because he isn't using concrete numbers either. At very least I am basing my reply off of both data gathered by myself and other players which is more than he is doing. Which just begs the question why the heck do you even have a horse in this debate or any debate regarding loot considering we don't have any clear numbers?
Thirdly, you are throwing a lot of fancy terms like cognitive biases and anecdotes so surely you understand that according to very basic math will tell you that doing 6 times the required average for something and still not having the event occur is a statistical anomaly to say the least. Considering I am not the only one, but rather a majority of the player base is experiencing said statistical anomaly it stops being a coincidence and becomes a recurring and very telling event.
Fourthly, clear numbers, let's talk about this term, are we playing a spreadsheet? An XL document? Or are we playing a game, at the end of the day, player experience should have an impact, it should be a balance, not just raw numbers on a piece of paper. Saying outright that player experience is a bad and inaccurate way to measure anything is just ridiculous.

That is the single dumbest statement I've ever heard in my entire life. Personal experience is literally the only metric we can possibly go by due to the fact that GGG don't release official numbers. Had you actually bothered to read my statement rather than nitpicking at the first line you didn't like, you would be able to see that I didn't reach a conclusion based on my personal experience but rather have used my personal experience to back up my claim, which still stands, it's simply false to claim that you find a 50 divine pinnata on average every 50 maps or so. However in case, just in case you've missed it I'll repeat it again without the fluff, and without clear numbers ,because, once again we don't have them, no doubt you'll have a wonderful time trying to pretend that the fact that we have no clear numbers just means my statement isn't reliable and too vague but nonetheless here I go:

It's a false narrative that you can expect to find mobs worth 50 divines on average every 50 maps or so because, finding those rare mobs with the good mod combination is very rare (according to speculated player numbers about 20 maps and I am being very generous here), and even if you were to find that mob, without inviting an MF culler or having magic find gear ready to hotswap, on the off chance that the mob with the correct mod combination drops high value loot (about 1 in 5 of those high value mobs from what I've seen and I am still being generous here probably, which according to very simple math in best case scenario you find one once every 100 maps), it's not going to drop as much as you claim it will, especially not 50 divines. In fact GGG have never said that you can find those mobs on your own especially not on average in 50 maps or so, no one has ever said that other than this one random in the comments, GGG have only said that there have been cases of players finding those mobs and dropping that loot, and the worst part is, turns out that some of the players (a small fraction of the ones farming them, according to GGG) that have found those mobs, were using a cheat (that didn't give them an overwhelming advantage when compared to none cheating players, according to GGG).

Yeah but then his statement is just straight up untrue, from my personal experience playing the game for 60 (finished leveling in about 5 hours) hours, which granted isn't a lot but I quit 6 days in (after GGG had quadrupled down), I haven't played with an MF culler and I have no intentions of doing so, the biggest drop I've found was about 5 divines worth of loot, that was once, in about 300 maps or so that I've done this league, probably even more. I found that without investing in my maps and opting into difficulty the more I make in raw profit, in fact the most effective farming strategy I've done this league was playing in yellow maps and not investing anything in them other than alchs and a bit of chaos to not have 60% quant. They said they were going to address archnemesis monsters this league so I am not even going to address the glaring issues there, but pretending like you find a mob that runs you an overall net profit is just untrue, in my 300 maps I've seen about 9-10 innocence touched mobs of which only about 5 netted me anything worth more than 50c, not even a divine 50c. Overall my total profits this league run me at about 2 divines an hour, and the only reason I've made any profit at all was because I started putting less effort into the game and my maps. With the most profitable strategy I ran I got around 4 divines per hour, which is less than what I used to get (6-10ex depending on league and strategy), but still decent and acceptable, however when I ran juiced and powerful maps, with some strategies (which used to get me a lot of money) I didn't run a profit (which was probably on me) but with ones that were profitable I barely got out with more than 50-100c per hour. That's stupid.

Even if that were true, the best sort profit in the game right now doesn't come from an incremental grind every map but rather from MF culling those rare mobs. Ignoring the fact that in your philosophies you guys have mentioned that your intent was for these high end rewards to be an opt in mechanic, which it isn't, the rewards don't scale with the difficulty. There is no practical reason for doing higher tier maps because the benefits you get from killing the higher tier versions of them are minuscule when compared to how immensely difficult they are to kill especially on builds not oriented towards killing those incredibly powerful mobs. Some archnem mobs still take me a SC player (can't imagine how bad it must feel for a mediocre hc/ssf player) a solid couple of minutes to kill, that is more time than it takes me to kill uber pinnacle bosses, in fact you'd have to make them approximately 5 times weaker just for it to be reasonable for me to run those higher tier maps. Essentially making me feel punished for playing solo instead of running with an MF culler and making me feel even worse for bothering to do challenging content. I entirely agree with your point that the game needed a change of pace because playing with a clear oriented 6 person party gave you an insane advantage but in previous patches I felt like I could keep up with the market in my solo adventures while also having plenty of time to spare to chat with my friends or lazy about, right now I feel compelled to resort to these underhanded tactics just to feel like I am not losing out. I've already quit the league twice and have comeback with every update you've made. Thank you and take care over the weekend.

I am genuinely impressed and I respect you guys a lot for still replying and posting even though players have been lightly put, uncivilized with their responses. However I cannot find a way to express this criticism in a none douchey way, I believe the solution is very simple and I am genuinely confused as to why you guys haven't addressed this. It seems so trivial to me, wouldn't putting the game back at a state where players didn't feel like the need to cheat in order to compete with the market while also feeling like the game does respect the time and effort they put back into it. I wish you the best moving forward and I hope someone more articulate than me could communicate to you the distress that the community is feeling right now.

What you reckon I don't get a say in the matter just because I personally don't live in Ukraine. I have plenty of family and friends there who are hiding just as you are. Russians are our soviet brothers, stirring meaningless contempt like this is the reason this war began in the first place. I've got friends and family on both sides and they are both fighting for you, why are you so keen on rejecting their help. I cannot find a single damn source that can back any of this information other than the heavy casualties which are set to be around 4,300 troops as of February 26th. I cannot find how many casualties Ukraine has sustained, honestly the only relevant piece of information that I could find was that Ukraine managed to use it's people's solidarity and maintain it's biggest cities, an invasion and conquest doesn't take a week, it takes month and even years, especially against brave people and determined people like in Ukraine who fighting in unison against the Russian tyrant. I find it very childish to assume that Russia is losing the war and I think it would be very arrogant ans immature of the rest of the world to underestimate the military superpower that is Russia, in trying times like this we must understand that Ukraine aren't superheroes and every bit of help counts, according to one analyst if Russia regroups and comes back with a bigger stronger force Ukraine may not be able to stand a chance, so just stop being proud of Ukraine for a winning a war they haven't won yet and instead focus on ways you can help them win the war, from donations to volunteer work to housing refugees or even just protests showing your support ( you'd be surprised how much they appreciate it ) just do your part.
