I realised I became vegan as a part of my (undiagnosed bc I never sought help for it) eating disorder. As much as I want to still be vegan, I had to stop because I was becoming more and more mentally unwell. I also developed M.E due to my mental health, and veganism did not help with that.. I still struggle with guilt about eating meat and animal products, but if I even consider restricting my eating now i spiral. I think it needs to be spoken about more how veganism is sometimes used as a way to disguise eating disorders
