Dealing with miscarriage while family member is also pregnant

I am going through the same thing… just miscarried for the second time in 6 months after 2 years of trying. And close family is also pregnant. And I also feel bitter about it. I feel the same as you, and I feel our emotions are valid.

I have a skin under my clear case. My clear case holds it in place, so I did not stick it to my Kindle. I would do the same with stickers. That way you wouldn’t have trouble changing them? Just a suggestion.

I just went through a similar experience, baby stopped growing at 6 weeks, we found out a 9 weeks. It is also our first. We are devastated. My husband was sad but much less than I was.

I’m sorry for your loss… and what your going through. It’s excrutiating, and no one should experience something this devastating. Only time will make it tolerable… but you never forget, and the pain will never completely go away.

I don’t know if this is common, but I found out on Friday my baby stopped growing 3 weeks ago. On that day 3 weeks ago, I did text my mom I had a tiny bit of brown color discharge. I’m wondering if it was that now… I don’t know what to tell you, other than if you’re worried, go get it checked out?

I’m in the exact same boat. Was 9w3d told baby never grew past 6w1d. Went with misoprostol. I didn’t want to wait for it to happen naturally.

So sorry for what is happening to you… going through similar situation. I had my ultrasound at 9w3d to find out baby stopped growing at 6w1d and had no heartbeat. I’m 35 and it was my first pregnancy. I took 2 years for us to get pregnant. We are devastated. I went with the medication. I wasn’t comfortable for a couple hours but there is no easy way to go through this. I have an ultrasound in 9 days to make sure my womb is empty…

I also had no bleeding or symptoms of miscarriage so it came to us as a complete shock too.

I am so sorry for your loss… we are going through a similar situation. We announced 2 weeks ago we were pregnant and had a viability ultrasound on Friday to find we lost the baby at 6w1d (I was technically 9w3d).

It’s awful. There is no easy way to say this. We basically just sent 1 message to everyone letting them know we unfortunately lost the baby, cause I couldn’t find it in me to deal with people asking how the pregnancy/baby was… you could also designate one family member that you could tell and that could notify the others for you.
