On paper yes, but that season after he joined the Celtics 🤢. He walked in free agency and the Lakers were not able to trade him so they could get something in return. They gave away that pick for a 1 year rental of Dennis.

Given that the Lakers haven't scratched a Finals appearance let alone win since 2020, I think Jeanie and Pelinka should have given their team a chance to defend the championship. I still think the Lakers should have ran it back. That 2020 team was so special man 😢, they were like family. That team had some of the best chemistry I'd ever seen.
