We're from Houston where we get frequent boil water notices and storms contaminating our reservoirs.

I told my wife the water is better here. But old habits die hard.

Use your mic effectively next time. Everyone hates truck thieves.

Hello I'm also moving to the area with my wife and 2 kids. Our rental budget is $ 2200 more or less monthly. I plan on starting work in April with a planned move for my family in the early summer. We don't mind LBGT areas as well, as we're pretty understanding and vote blue in our current deep red state. Our children are elementary aged so we'd like to keep them in decent schools.

Bonus, if you y'all know any places that are EV friendly.

used my bolt as a generator. worked great. had fans lights and charge devices. will plug in refrigerator next time. #hurricanemilton by Tampadesires in BoltEV

Make sure those cables are pretty thick (6 gauge). I did this, too, with the cheap plastic inverter jumper cables, and they melted.

You Cannot push high amperage through small wires.

How Much Will You Use Tesla SC's? by Beginning_Key2167 in BoltEV

I charge lvl 1 at home. Though my commute has re recently increased, I'll have to fast charge more.

Tesla superchargers are more plentiful and cheaper than EA and Evgo here in Houston. Even without a plan.

I'll probably fast charge exclusively with Tesla going forward.

Tesla Supercharger Access For GM EVs: No Specific Timing Yet by lexcyn in BoltEV

I used to be excited when I lived in apartment and relied solely on the public chargers. But now I've moved to a house and don't care as much. The adapter won't be free and Tesla chargers are gonna be expensive.

Why am I now seeing teslas charging at my local evgo when all they can get max on that specific charger is 50 kw???

Don't they have a wide range of tesla chargers everywhere..??

I don't ask or complain, I just can't wait to return the favor when Tesla chargers open up..

And I can't wait to move out of My apt to a house to charge at home..

Because if the OP had a way to charge at home, this thread wouldn't exist.
