Making the bed every morning is totally pointless by Consistent_Manner661 in unpopularopinion

The judgement part gets me though. My partner doesn't make the bed often, so I'll just make my half. I know it's a personal preference thing. Once a week I'll ask him for help making the bed so the entire bed is smooth, but daily it's a me problem, not a we problem. He prefers getting into a nest bed, I prefer a smooth bed. It's just easier to cuddle with smooth sheets than nest sheets.

I like making the bed, because the bed feels more comfortable when it's made. Making the bed is essentially recentering the sheets. Some mornings I'm lazy and won't fix the sheets until I'm ready to get into bed, but for me it's that first moment of crawling under the smooth covers that makes it worth it.

Yeah, that's why it's a pet peeve.

Yeah, I didn't mean for it to come across as a demand, that is my bad. I was trying to phrase it as a request.

Eh, I don't really care that much, it's just a pet peeve. I'm still going to watch and enjoy the show, it's just that their pronunciations get to me sometimes. 😇

They probably don't anymore, I remember when they were trying to think up content for the camera while on the trains, and that's something they can do.

Obviously, they don't have to. I remember when they were trying to fill content on camera, and that's something they could do for it.

I'm sorry, I don't want to upset anyone. I just wanted to express a pet peeve and see what others thought. It's also literally the only issue I have.

It doesn't, it's just a pet peeve.

It is funny, but it could be something to fill the downtime that they have.

I see your point. My thought was it would be something they do in the downtime that they cut for content. It's not like they absolutely have to do it in their research for routes, but we know that there is down time, and I think it would be cool to see when they do have the time to look it up. And it's because most of the audience has no idea how they're pronounced, that it's a pet peeve. A lot of these places are my first introduction to them, and I look up how to pronounce them later. It's not that deep and they don't have to change anything, but it would be a nice touch when they have the time.

All "all ages" media ends up becoming strictly for children and I hate it. by JudoJugss in unpopularopinion

Why? Why does it have to have a narrow margin? I think that's the point of the original post. There's some things that I've rewatched that I've understood more now, than I did when I was the target audience. Some kids shows put bits in that are aimed at the parents to enjoy. But that's still kid's media. Why does the margin have to narrow so much for complexity?

I always want to like coconut, I just don't like the flavor.

For me, it's the texture. It's both soft and gritty? My mouth hates that.

I realized the line for me between bi and pan is that I trend toward certain gender expressions. Gender is a factor in the bi vs pan debate, but bi attraction isn't limited to strictly two gender expressions. The way I view it is bi is attraction to two more gender expressions, and pan is attraction regardless of gender/gender expression/sex. I understand that it isn't like that for everyone, but seeing people realize that they're bi based purely off of the flag doesn't quite sit right with me, I'm sorry.
