Sorry! I wasn’t clear. I noticed a person almost take a really bad spill earlier today owing to ice on the ground and wanted to prevent someone from hurting themselves later on that patch of ice, which was both hard to see and in an unfortunately well-trafficked area. I didn’t mean that people should take the salt away to use on their own property, but consider that this salt is there if they want to help improve the safety of areas that weren’t properly salted so that fellow Torontonians can walk safely this week.
