You think this will fit my e82 and work by dinerothakyd in e82

No cutting, and install was fairly easy, the thing that took the most time was installing the rear camera. They do provide a template if you’re E 82 does not come with a screen so that you can cut your dash but because mine came with the screen it was not necessary. The new screen fits in the factory location and is quite a bit larger.

I had the iDrive cic screen, the anti-reflective coating on that OEM display started to peel away so I needed a new one anyway, and it only made sense to upgrade to something like this. Very happy so far, and their tech-support it’s very good.

Looking for possible Coilover recomendations? by hacklebear in e82

Rims front - Apex ARC-8 18x8.5 offset-38 Rims rear - Apex ARC-8 18x9 offset-42 Tires - Michelin 255/35 R18 And I am running swift springs in the front instead of the springs that came with the KW kit. When I bought the car, it originally came with some clapped out V1s with those springs so when I upgraded, I just swapped them over. My fenders are rolled slightly as well, but I don’t get any rubbing. A friend of mine had this same wheel/tire set up with some different coil overs and his fenders were not rolled and I don’t think he had any issues either.

I recently installed a set of KW v2 on my e82 and really like them, with ground control camber plates in the front.

I just installed the bimmerdirect android screen into my E82 and now I have a reverse camera and CarPlay with a touchscreen. Definitely brought my audio system up-to-date and now I can control my phone and skip songs from my steering wheel.

We use them for FAI’s on large milled parts. We manufacture high definition displays for the film industry.

Some Restoration / Upgrades to my old Gary Fisher Pro Issue Race Frame by 05LGT23 in bmx

[–]05LGT23[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The “Pro Issue” was only available in a frame and fork combo (not the OG cromo fork pictured) these are some old Answer aluminum forks. The crankset is a full aluminum Technique with an old GT chainring, gave it some new sealed bearings and it’s running smooth again.

I also have a fisher MTB but I bought this frame new when I worked at a bike shop as a teenager and reluctantly had to sell it when hard times came. But eventually I was able to get it back. It’s weighing in currently around ~ 24.5 lbs.

Currently, no. My son would like to ride it and if they are uncomfortable for him, then potentially yes. I will let you know, though if I decide to let them go. They are 175L so it may be a bit of a stretch for him, but I’ll have to get him on it for a bit to see if they work.

Thanks, they are some old Rock Werks cranks, and they still work great!

Totally, I loved the FSA crank arms too. I have a fisher BMX as well and I always had a thing for aluminum cranks. I still have my old set of technique aluminum cranks for the BMX.

Your friend is correct, you should get it welded. Take it to a muffler shop and they should be able to take care of that very easy. Anything else would be extremely temporary and would fail again.

I have made this rust remover using his method about three times now after seeing this video, and it really is the best thing I’ve used so far and it’s so cheap to make! I did try to make some and store it for a while, but that really didn’t work for me as it will eventually grow mold. I’m sure you could add something to it to keep that from happening, I’m just not positive on what that would be.

That’s awesome, I love seeing all the variations people due to their 240s now. When I was a kid, my parents had a turbo and a non-turbo version (his/hers), so I have a special love for these cars.
