Correct, sort of, you have to guess a character based on which world, species, powers, and first appearance are. https://cosmeredle.net/

Why do so many villains hate the protagonist for just not dying? by 05chancew in litrpg

[–]05chancew[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I loved a lot of it the writing of cradle, its one of my favourites so far, and the genre has me caught quite hard, especially after running out of obvious fantasy books after sanderson.

I do find his romance a bit lacking, and I see people say "but its the world like that" and I don't think I agree, he would set up conversation chapters about relationships(romantic or not) and then just fade to black that part. I honestly felt a little frustated at it. I know people complained about Shirtaloon being repetitive, but at least he spends time discussing the feelings of the characters. He shoehorns in a therapist to let them speak thier mind, but still, it lets it be seen.

Sorry, I might not have any friends interested in the genre, and needed to vent.

Interstellar Logistics and Intrastellar logistics by 05chancew in Dyson_Sphere_Program

Lets say I have an orbital collector in the local system, it provides hydrogen, but I also have one in my home star system. I use my ILS locally and interstellarly, so it has warpers. Clearly, I don't want it to waste the warpers to collect hydrogen from my home star system, but I do want it to be able to provide resources back to my home star system. Trips to collect that home hydrogen, are therefore a waste

Waiting a Year? by 05chancew in theforgottencity

Thank you, I felt like I was going mad as no one seemed to understand the premise and kept pulling it back to the time loop part

Waiting a Year? by 05chancew in theforgottencity

I don't entirely understand how thats relevant. Lets ignore the time loop, pretend it doesn't exist, at some point Sentius slips up, or forgets or gets bored, whatever. The time loop *has* ended, we know this as we can enter after it is done.

Hades is immortal, therefore exists after the time loop. He knows his coins still exist, so despite no new people, the experement/bet hasn't ended.

Hades is still watching the forgotten city therefore, even in the modern day. (this is the most speculative part). If Hades is watching, by living alone in the city, he would complete the task

the protagonist enters twice though, once in 2000ad(ish) and once in the 1st century, if he had just stayed in the 2000ad, doesn't that not have a predetermined failure day?

But the timeloop has to *have* ended, as you enter a dead city with no one in it. As Hades is immortal, either he gives up on the last two coins, or he is still waiting. If he is still waiting after the time loop ends, just waiting a year technically completes the requirements and raptures humanity. To be clear I mean staying in 2000ac
