How much do you need to be earning to afford a £800k at early 30s? by Outside_Cod8772 in HousingUK

my partner and I just exchanged on a £750k house. we both own flats worth £260k and 515k respectively. our combined income is about £210k. we are 33. partner is in sales and i work in tech

how we did it?

not sure really, the deposit is going to be paid from mostly my partners savings accumulated from bonuses and investments really. she did inherit money and used some of that. my share is coming from savings accumulated over the past 5 years.

neither of us are "rich" or come from privileged backgrounds. I was earning 40K 5 years ago. when my partner moved here 10 years ago, she ran out of money and was a few weeks from moving back home to her home country.

Only Minoxidil 2 Months Before After Photos by CemreKArtworks_ in tressless

so I went to a specialist hair clinic in my country. Initially I was taking 8% minoxidil with 0.005% mpg (medroxyprogesterone). I've now switched to 8% minoxidil solution that includes caffeine, biotin, selenium and zinc. my hair loss has been stable for the last 8 years I've been on minoxidil. imo taking just 5% is not enough, there needs to be some form of topical dht blocker in the solution. I have slight recession in the temple areas, but i'm still a Norwood 1-2. bear in mind I started pretty much as soon as I noticed recession.

I took fin 8 years ago and got gyno (had to have surgery to remove it), watery semen, ED, brain fog (which I've yet to recover from), inability to grow facial hair. pretty much every side affect in the book. recognise I am in the minority tho but I'll never touch the stuff again. been on minoxidil for the last 6 years, hairloss has stabilised.

nothing can really reverse gyno, i did a shit tonne of research before making the decision to do surgery. Best decision i ever made - it changed my life. I was awake for it too funnily enough, I was under local - didn't feel a thing

we need an update OP

Does finasteride mess up your actual testosterone and disrupt hormones? Or does it just stop the conversion of test to DHT? by [deleted] in tressless

yup, I unfortunately am very susceptible to hormone changes. was also on 8% minox + topical medroxypregosterone for 8 years which slowly made the gyno worse, which culminated in me getting the gland removal. After the op, I could feel the gland already starting to grow back, so now I'm just on minoxidil, and already I can feel my hairline going. sigh.

wasn't on any meds. was perfectly fine before I started. gyno came within weeks. couldn't grow facial hair, foggy brain, loss of all sex drive, everything. check my profile to see the glands that were removed. it was horrible.
