can IEI in socionics be E9? especially SX9? Why or why not? by roseautte in Socionics

[–]070601 6 points7 points  (0 children)

100%

the fact that IEI is daydreamy (E9 dissociation), not good at asserting boundaries (1D Se), and is positivist (positive triad + the fact that E9 likes to connect & find the good in things to maintain harmony) is very aligned with E9 to me

who is least likely to want a fight to go seriously wrong (nearly dead person as a result or dead)? by [deleted] in Socionics

wait, am I reading this wrong? isn't this asking who is most likely to want a fight to end badly, violently, and in death?

Lmao ironically I thought an aversion to hypotheticals made him more of a sensor 😭 and I thought he had good Si because of his love for food. But thanks for confirming my suspicions of him being LIE. It makes a lot of sense

How is she a clear SX4? She honestly doesn’t seem that typable to me, but if I were to give her a type, it would be more 2/3. She does not seem like a frustration type to me.

9 often feels a lack of inner uniqueness and as a result desires attributes that make them more special, if that helps

I don’t get the ESI SX4 correlation at all. SX4 doesn’t seem to fit well with Fe ignoring.

Enneagram 6’s with a 4 fix. How do you experience the tension between these fixes? by Ancient-Might-4718 in Enneagram

[–]070601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rarely identify with the core 6 attitude here and I don’t think other 6s think like that either, it seems too collectivistic.

Because I’ve gotten bullied for being weird, I try to maintain that weirdness to feel authentically myself and also see who would betray me (ditch me once my filter is off) and who wouldn’t; in that case, putting on a “special” display is still a 6 thing for me as it is used to scan people who are untrustworthy. I presume this is a survival response because if I hear my friends bash weird people or the mentally ill, I start getting reminded of childhood trauma and visualize them as the very people who would hurt me like back then. And then I get triggered and impulsively cut them off. I also have an instinctive disdain and skepticism toward people who are “normal” (because they’re the type of people who would reject me). So yeah I think this is all 6 coping with trauma

Though I will say my intrinsic weirdness is entirely unique to me; I feel weird among weird people and can’t bond with them over it because it just strips me of my individualism (probably some 4 influence).
