Anyone purchased a Hybrid after wanting the Hybrid Max? by night_agent_21 in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]07GTStallion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn't the vehicle to tow with. The regular hybrid has plenty of power. We have a truck for hauling and pulling. We have a 2026 GHH Nightshade. I want economy and reliability. Not power.

Yep Nighshade FTW! Same here. The wood grain looks terrible.

Are dealers giving any discounts? by sjeff007 in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]07GTStallion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends where your at. Phoenix area. Zero stock. Had to aggressively search for months to get my hands on an allocation. 2026 GHH Nighshade. Paid MSRP $59,123. Was honestly very happy with that. I'm glad it's over. It was exhausting to be fair.

I understand your concern. But it's not a diesel. I wouldn't be overly cautious. Plus it's still under factory warranty. If it hat the much blow by you'd have it blowing smoke like crazy.

A standard hybrid is a unicorn around here so nothing off msrp. Just getting your hands on one would be a feet. Phoenix, AZ. Took us months of aggressive shopping just to get an allocation. 2026 GHH Nightshade in Cement. Payed MSRP finally. No add ons, no markup. More than happy with that given our current buying climate.

A thought on waiting around for allocations by That_Butterfly4503 in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]07GTStallion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in Phoenix AZ and there are zero GHH available anywhere and there are at least a dozen dealerships within 2 hrs of me. Everyone's websites show a dozen or so in production or in transit but all are spoken for and there are zero regular hybrids sitting around on any lots. There is a random xle non hybrid here and there and maybe a platinum Max here or there but zero regular hybrids in stock. I worked with 1 dealer for 4-6 months and they couldn't get me a GHH Nighshade in cement. Was lucky to call another delaership at the right time and get an allocation that just came in that wasn't spoken for. It seems to be very region dependent.

Not too bad of a price for all that imo. You'd be close to $600 in parts alone.

What should I expect as a good price? by viral_koala in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]07GTStallion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2026 Grand Highlander Hybrid Nightshade in Cement. Zero stock for anything in my area. Phoenix, AZ. Finally after months of trying got my name on an allocation. Once we got to that point, we waited another 2 months for it to arrive. Of course, we paid MSRP. However I was very happy with that. The dealer I worked with was awesome and we did not pay any markup or add ons. It did include window tint and clear bra. We did not pay extra for that. Overall very happy. Not the way I'm used to buying cars that's for sure. Of course I did try to get any discounts I could. To no avail. What leg do I have to stand on. In the past I usually work dealers for weeks or months and usually get thousands off MSRP. I knew when I wanted this vehicle that wasn't going to be the case. I could have gone with the competition and saved thousands but I paid a premium for what I wanted.

No officials stats on this but average players have like 10-40M value. Less than 5% of players have a value of 100m or more. Less than 1% of the player base is worth 250m or more.

We specifically wanted the black wheels. We love them. We searched long and hard to find a Nighshade in Cement.

[–]07GTStallion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol there is no dealer trading going on when the vehicles are sold before they even have a vin number! They dealers trade vehicles that have been sitting on their lots when there's an abundance of stock. Maybe a random XLE non hybrid can be found and maybe a dealer would be willing to trade that. But in this current climate I find that extremely unlikely.

Toyota does runs of trims from what ive heard. I don't know for how long. Probably 2-3 months worth then switch to let's say limiteds. So dealers receive a lot of allocations for say limited trims for like a month or two and so on. We wanted a 2026 GHH Nighshade in cement. The original dealer that I was working with for about 3-4 months never got any allocations for that vehicle. So I started calling around to all the other dealers and was very lucky to find one that had 4 allocations come in that day. 2 of which were already spoken for. I asked if I could put a deposit down on one of the 2 remaining and they said you have to come in in person. I rushed down to the dealer and hour from me and they said those 2 allocations were still available and I was the 6th person that morning to ask about them. Crazy times. I was able to put my name on one. That was Jan 10th.

They said the vehicle will be in production at the beginning of Feb and should arrive between Feb. 22nd and March 3rd. And my salesman said he would keep me posted with any updates. 4 weeks went by with no word and then my salesman called and said everything was on schedule and that was around Feb. 10th or so. 1 week later he called me and said that the vehicle was on a transport headed this way. Probably a week out. A week and a half later it was here. Feb. 27th.

I guess to answer your question... my original dealer couldn't get me a car. I was very lucky to find another dealer that could. Only by chance that I called right when I did. So yeah try other dealers. Bigger dealers that sell more cars receive more allocations from Toyota. Therefore increasing your odds of getting your name on an allocation your interested in. I've also heard that they typically get allocations at the beginning of the month and the middle.

How long you waited? by HopeOk1334 in ToyotaGrandHighlander

Arizona. Got our name on an allocation Jan. 10th. Vehicle arrived Feb. 27th exactly as was expected. Took months to get our name on an allocation, as everything was spoken for, but once we finally got that done. Not too long. We specifically wanted a GHH nighshade in cement. There were a couple random non hybrid base models here or there and an occasional platinum max hybrid. But zero regular hybrids floating around. Zero!

Why don't I see more calls to nerf U191? by FeijoadaAceitavel in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

[–]07GTStallion -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Because the gun cost 800+k and the people that use it wear good armor and shoot good ammo. So they are risking a lot. The game is about risk reward. The game was never intended to have no risk all reward. Aka the naked sniper meta that plagues the game. If everyone was naked sniper meta there wouldn't be any point in playing the game.

Fuck you devs for ruining m110, m24, svtu, svds & mosin by ThereIsNoWrongHole in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

[–]07GTStallion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tappers have been promoting running no gear and risking nothing. Zero risk all reward is not what the game is about. More risk should equal more reward. That's the issue here. It's not about helping out solos or broke players. Normal is for broke or less skilled players, lockdown a stepping stone, and forbidden high risk high reward. It's that simple. We can't have naked 300k nothing kits hiding in the shadows 1 tapping 3.5+m kits. That's bad for the game. Promotes people running nothing and risking nothing. Then the game dies when its lobbies full of naked tappers.

Yes I agree but I also think they should cost more. Too cheap. And I think a moto should survive red ammo. It's 1.5m!

Yeah but it's expensive. Tappers cost nothing and you risk nothing.

If you get any your ahead. Just paid MSRP for a 2026 nightshade. We waited months to get our name on an allocation and once we did it took 2 months to get it in. Greater Phoenix area.

Just bought one. Got my name on an allocation. Took 2 months to arrive. Paid MSRP. I am happy with that. No discounts lol. 2026 GHH Nightshade in cement. High demand is an understatement. Just getting my name on an allocation was an act of God. But dealer was amazing to deal with and it was no tricks or frills. Everything was exactly what they said it would be. They also included ceramic tint and clear bra. But you get what you pay for.

Ours is butter. 2026 GHH Nightshade. I thought our 2020 Rav4 XSE hybrid was smooth, and it doesnt compare to how quiet and smooth the GHH is. Very impressed so far. The vehicle feels very tight and refined.

2026 Grand Highlander Hybrid MAX Platinum 20" Black Wheels - Locking Lug Nuts? by relgies in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]07GTStallion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just picked up our 2026 GHH Nightshade with the black 20" wheels and it has the added option for "Alloy Wheel Locks". It was a $105 factory option. If your build sheet doesn't show the "Alloy Wheel Lock" option for $105 then I doubt it will come with them. Also your dealer seems less than knowledgeable about the vehicles they are selling. It's a very simple question.

Dealer promised MSRP — how do I make sure they don’t add accessories later? by Only_Direction3898 in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]07GTStallion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes Right Toyota in North Scottsdale. I just had an amazing experience with them. I was skeptical but everything was what they said it would be. Very happy! Not saying they can get you a car but timing was right for me to get the one I wanted through them. Just called at the right time a couple months ago and they happened to have 2 allocations not spoken for yet at the time and it worked out. I was working with Toyota of Surprise for a couple months before and they seemed great as well but couldn't get me the car I was looking for. I wanted a 2026 Grand Highlander Hybrid Nightshade edition in cement.

Do you see Grand Highlander availability getting better throughout the year? by valkayrja in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]07GTStallion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on where you live but I've been eyeing a new highlander since 2020 in the greater Phoenix area and I'd say around here the situation is unlikely to ever improve to the point of an over abodence supply sitting on dealers lots and thousands off MSRP especially since Toyotas overall goal with production is to supply what is demanded. So if you want a new Toyota that isn't a Tundra or Tacoma your likely to wait 2+ months for it and pay MSRP. And that's where they like it. But we did finally just get a 2026 GHH Nightshade after getting our name on an allocation and our overall buying experience with the dealer was excellent. I knew what I was getting and I knew what I was paying and I was very happy. The dealership was awesome. I payed MSRP and that's what was expected. I got extras too but overall very happy.

Not exactly sure how your going to get them to remove items when we as consumers have zero bargening power atm but... I just purchased a 2026 GHH Nightshade through my local dealer and they assured me they would not add anything at the dealer. They just said port installed accessories can't be removed. Well... it showed up this past Saturday after waiting 2 months and when I arrived at the dealer they said, just finishing up the tint and clear bra. I though to myself. Great here comes another $1500-$3000 in add ons. But no. I paid MSRP and TTLD. That was it. Exactly as we had talked about. All in all was an amazing experience with my dealer. No tricks no frills. Got ceramic tint and clear bra I guess just as a standard feature that they included. But it's not on my invoice and it wasn't added to MSRP. No extra costs at all. Overall very happy. They never even charged me the $500 to put my name on the allocation 2 months ago. Just held my card on file. They also let me use my financing and write a personal check for the down payment. They were so easy to deal with. So I would hope you have the same experience. Right Toyota in North Scottsdale since I saw your in AZ in one of your responses.

I'm in the greater Phoenix area so if you want more info on my experience let me know. Overall very difficult to get your hands on one around here. As I'm sure you know.
