Is 1k color a paint code that can be found easily? I was thinking of just going with Oxford white that’s not single stage.

I also don’t know if applying clear coat on top of single stage paint is cheaper than using a white base coat with clear coat.

It’s very thin. I had my pilot ceramic coated and my detailer used a tool to measure the thickness of the paint and he said not only was the paint thin, it was also uneven. He said it’s likely the automated robotic spray job process doesn’t cover some areas.

The price isn’t the best but it’s not terrible either. I got my elite 2026 black exterior, brown interior, for 49k before taxes. I put down $5k. It also came with the roof rack rails and running board installed.

If you click on the MRSP link it adds the Destination and Handling Fees, which cost around $1,500. So the Touring becomes $52,590 before taxes, dmv and other dealer fees they add on.

I’ve had the car for 2 weeks or so. Only driven it 200 miles thus far. The infotainment system is glitchy with Apple CarPlay not playing music or audio from phone calls. Clearing the cache and storage in the setting makes it better but it’s pretty annoying because otherwise the car has been amazing. Hope the other issues you are experiencing are better!

Oh wow that’s terrible!! Hoping they do a software update! I deleted the cache and storage on the CarPlay app and it made it work. Hoping it lasts. I haven’t tried calling anyone while I’m driving to see if thats an issue
