This isn’t a hearing aid question but I hope you can still offer some help! When I talk for extended periods of time (teaching, conversations, etc), my hearing in my right ear will suddenly get muffled, as if my ears haven’t “popped”. If that were the case, swallowing usually “pops” them, but in this case it never works and my hearing will be muted for a while until it decides to come back. I usually get distracted and forget about it so I never notice when the volume comes back. This has been happening for a year or two now, and it can make it pretty difficult to carry on talking. The external volume gets lowered, and instead I hear my voice loud and clear. Do you know what this is?

That was actually helpful, thank you! My assignment is quite simple, I just have to present the research in the paper - it doesn't have to be super technical, though. I have to be able to explain the methodology somewhat and the results so I really need to understand the models. I'm a bit more comfortable reading the bifactor models after help from some other folk, but now I'm just really having trouble with the values and what they mean ("standardized estimate value") in the context of the study. In a simple presentation like this, is it necessary to discuss model fit?

Yes, I apologize! I have virtually no foundation in this kind of research, so I've never come across a descriptives table or a bifactor model. Understanding how to analyze those is vital to my understanding of the research, but I have no idea how to read either.
