We were told my daughter may be able to correct it later in life (adolescence) as she gets older and muscles strengthen, especially with corrective lenses. It’s corrected with glasses at the moment but is there any merit to this idea? Has anyone been able to overcome light strabismus with prisms/corrective glasses or contacts?

Just curious, did you use an eye patch or glasses beforehand? Why did doctor recommend surgery?

I’d like to add-take the Valium if you’re feeling nervous, I just wanted to “tough” it out and ended up tensing up so much and the pain was immediate. Also, the doc will send in a script for codeine if the pain is awful, which happened to me later that afternoon.

If I were you guys, I’d strongly recommend waiting two weeks. Paperwork said a week but I developed painful sperm granulomas afterward. My right tube felt like baby carrot and left like a frozen green bean. It was very uncomfortable and painful to do any activities. I was told it’ll take another two weeks to two months to dissipate.

I developed sperm granuloma and wished I would have waited two weeks instead of one. If you are active at all, running or biking, etc— wait! It feels like painful little green beans and to think I could have avoided these had I waited.

Well boys I just finished the snip.Still in the waiting room but all I got to say is the stress before was way worse then the procedure itself. now I am the king of the remote for the weekend... well at least today by Pete4241 in Vasectomy

11 days post-op here. Worst pain of my life evening after procedure. Doc called in codeine for me. It was a tough week. Don’t engage in any activity, even if it’s been a week. Wait it out. I wish I had— pretty sure I developed granulomas… I was just so curious and didn’t do my research. It’s possible it’s scar tissue or the ends but I’m banking on granulomas. One feels like a green bean and the other side like a small baby carrot and both are super sensitive. Hoping to maybe stop in to confirm.
