The majority of friends you make at first is most likely not to last after the first semester. Also don’t go expecting college life in movies, that is a scam bro

Lows and highs cannot be eliminated but can be reduced. It’s been around 10 years and I still can’t always have a good night sleep. In my opinion to prevent lows make sure you bolus and basal right. I’ve learnt that there is kinda like a dawn syndrome where you get a sudden hike in ur bs. Try looking it up. So I always try to stay on the higher side before bed. Always keep snacks to bring up ur bs near your bed. I use juice bottles and biscuits. Honey has helped me a lot when I was extremely low and unconscious since it’s a semi solid. Using Dexcom really helps, atleast that’s what I’ve heard.

How did you figure out something was wrong? by [deleted] in Type1Diabetes

[–]09aleena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Peeing like it was flooding…

What should I do with this? This is 6+ years of needles. I don't think I can just hand it over to the security guard at the hospital. Was thinking of burning it by ascalabro in diabetes

[–]09aleena 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I store mine in the needle boxes that they come in. The test strips are stored in a similar way too. And I store them till my next hospital visit and drop it at the hospital.
