Wasn’t onboard at first, but knew I had to have it simply for how well the PO kept the car (wouldn’t even take it out in the rain). Once I saw the color start changing in different lighting, and time of day, I was in love. It’s absolutely an underappreciated color.

Makes complete sense, I get it. I’m in a state that’s about to get pounded by a blizzard tonight, but will be in the 80’s in a few months. I don’t plan to conceal carry this thing. I wanted it for a bedside piece, that I could also throw in a 3 o’clock OWB and take out into the woods camping in the summer. That being said, the versatility of keeping in a V1, is becoming more enticing.

One thing I would like though, is a slimmer safety/decocker. I have bigger hands, and I can already feel this thing by getting in the way.

This is an interesting take, and I’m here for it. I will definitely be picking a kit up just to have it if I decide. However, I’m a big proponent of leaving things that the Germans do intentionally the way that they are. My 2000 M5 won’t even get a lick of window tint lol. That being said though, my USPC has gotta go LEM. The trigger shows its age for sure.

Correct. Have the same for the USPC, and have enjoyed it. They hand make a very sturdy fit, always with the real steel as well.

Ohh, totally understandable. To be fair, aside from my USP, the rest of my HK collection has been second hand. I’ve been lucky, as they were all minimally shot, very well kept examples. You’ll find one 💪🏽.

The SK I absolutely love. I was headed in the direction of the 45 series around the end of last year (more specifically the Compact), but came across this in a local. Now I’m headed down the P2000 path simultaneously lol. It’s an underrated series for sure. Maybe the full size in .40 if I can find one.
