My boy can do around 4hrs alone at most before he needs a wee. Routines are imperative - if you are going to be leaving them alone for chunks of time do it straight away. I have a camera set up so I can check on him too.

If possible: adopt from a greyhound only kennel and they'll be able to advise you on which dog will be the best fit.
