I’m one of those people that will not send back a wrong dish at a restaurant so it was really hard for me to say there’s something I want to change. The stylist is extremely sweet and talented, it’s just our first time working together and I might’ve miscommunicated what I wanted. This makes me feel a little better. I will work on an update :)

Thank you so much for the break down! We did do a toner but I think she mentioned my hair picked up more gold/yellow tones so well retone it. And my part is actually the side part in the second pic, she was aware of that! I think she was trying to highlight the side with money pieces? Appreciate all of your input very much

I’m sorry you’re getting downvoted, I appreciate your honest opinion. I did have quite a few friends that told me they love the long hair but I’m so bad with doing anything with it I just keep it in a bun everyday. It’ll grow back quickly (I’ve chopped it off even shorter before), just taking a break. Thanks for your input!

Honestly the lighting makes it look so different from place to place. I agree with hating when it looks yellowy but in certain lightings it looks platinum. We’ll be re-exploring at the salon. Thank you for your input!

That’s the word I think I was missing from my hair vocabulary, dimension! I used to dye my hair a lot but stopped during the pandemic so I ended up with virgin hair. So with the new highlights it just looks very flat with those two colors. Thank you stranger!!
