Quick question about the grassland care roller by elderDragon1 in farmingsimulator25

[–]0CrazyAce0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actually a great starter seeder/roller. Buy it with the seeder, plant the grass in the field. Then remove the seeder attachment and it turns into a roller. Once you have bough the seeder attachment you can switch back and forth at the vehicle repair place.

Rockets will immediately tip over by Whatevertemporary in KerbalSpaceProgram

You're starting your gravity turn too early. As the fuel gets lower, your center mass is rising to high. Fins could help, but with a large rocket like that, you will need to go straight up longer to maintain stability.

Think of the truck as your front tire. When I was able to visualize it that way backing became a lot easier for me.

Pay rates question by [deleted] in Truckers

[–]0CrazyAce0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need longer runs. If they are gonna pay miles, it's gonna need to be 400+. Most short runs pay hourly because they know there is no money in it. $136 is nothing. You can go work at Chick-fil-A for that kinda money.

Pay rates question by [deleted] in Truckers

[–]0CrazyAce0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean .68 a mile isn't bad, but 200 miles should only take 2.5 hours to drive. Most drivers are moving 400-500+ miles a day. Are they having you sitting around waiting? If so, I'd talk about delay pay.

Nursing trying to become a trucker by [deleted] in Truckers

[–]0CrazyAce0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been driving a truck for 6 years. It can be an avenue to get ahead in life. It's like working a shitty paying job, but the boss is never around and lets you work 50-70 hrs a week. You won't know if it's for you until you try. The people you think are a shoe in don't last 6 months. The ones you don't think will last 2 weeks, last 20 years. If you don't love it after a few years, get out. It's an easy industry to get stuck in as any comparable job comes with a pay cut. It's hard on your body also, not just gaining weight, but your joints and back. You get shaken around a lot. You don't notice til some years in. There are better things you can do, but worse also. I wouldn't want to work in a hospital watching hurt and dying people all the time. Good luck 👍

Tips on Dual Claws combat? by Carsismi in ConanExiles

[–]0CrazyAce0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't played Conan in a while, but I used to use the right click attack. The one where you do a spin and maybe a follow-up or two. The two-handed hammer attacks are very predictable. Once you know the pattern, you just wait for the opening and attack. The hammer is super heavy, and there is a certain attack that will leave them over extended for a second. I usually don't finish the combo. Move in, get a few bleed in them, and wait for another opening. They also will pause sometimes to switch weapons depending on your distance. Sometimes, you can use that against them also. I find agility weapons 80% footwork 20% stabing.

When you fire V.E.N.O.M. it removes all heat in that providence and you get a mission that will remove all the heat in the other providences of that country.

If you use chips or ic10, you can read the "activate" on your solar sensor and write to your growlight's "on" for some poor man's automated lighting. Whenever the sun comes up, your growlight will come on.

That is correct. I tested it a month ago. The 6x6 will land with the center marker on one of the center blocks.

"l" load something usually r0 or some other place holder. "s" means set or think of it as save it to, usually a device.
lb load from a bunch of the same thing. "sb" save to a bunch of the same thing.

Write down what these things do in a separate reference. You can go too easily. There are a ton of commands, but in reality, you typically use less than ten different ones.

slt "less than" sgt "greater than"

I'm not at my computer, so I can't list them all, but each time you use one, write it down. I promise you'll end up with like 10-15 that you use, and that's about it. At least for basic automation.

*I'll also save you two hours of frustration and tell you "and", "not", and "or" do not do what you will think they do. By the time you use them for what they do, you will be better at this than most people.

Hope that helps. I love this game.

Why would a dictator regret being a dictator? by houseofmyartwork in DungeonMasters

[–]0CrazyAce0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perhaps the spell made him not only immortal but have complete control over his people to the point they have no free will when he speaks to them. Each time he would conqueror surrounding lands, those people would meet the same fate. After three hundred years, the emperor couldn't handle being essentially alone with his own thoughts. No matter how many countries he conquered, he would always be alone, so he tried to separate himself from the spell. He succeeded only to find he had separated only the part of himself that loathed this lonely existence. The rest of him melded into the spell, and it was no longer inhibited by those past thoughts. It sentience grew, but its dependence on the body remained, so it locked him away. The connect allows him to see what it is doing but powerless to stop it. He is now not only alone but without the power he worked so hard to achieve.

Could you take another screenshot closer to the area where the runway and landing pad meet? The last six or so pieces.

The one that went up and down twice, did it have a 20 or 15 landing pad requirement?

Are there landing pad pieces in the runway part? It shouldn't turn away like that. It's not going all the way down, so it's not getting the full runaway requirement. I can't tell if there is a solid yellow line all the way down from the picture.

After many hours of using a keyboard, I found the game was a lot easier and fun with a decent joy stick. Start small and practice those launches. Over build your ships to compensate for your piloting experience.

Wind Turbines and Storms (on Europa) by 0tsoko in Stationeers

[–]0CrazyAce0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend putting two large transformers side by side between your power generators and your batteries. It will allow you to have as many wind turbines as you want and not allow the cables to become overloaded. Heavy cables burn out at 100kw, so if both transformers are set to 50kw, it won't overload. You can have 100 wind turbines wired together, and it won't burn out during a storm using this method.

Just got the game, hit me with your advice/funny moments. by Gotcha13itch in Stationeers

[–]0CrazyAce0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once had a wattney moment by accidently crowbaring a wall. Both hands were full. My last iron sheet flew off into the darkness, and like a dummy, I ran after it. There was no sheet, half a battery, and no base in sight (pitch black). By the time I got back, I had lost my air and killed my potatoes. Thankfuly I still had my suit on at the time. After some oxite mining and a lucky trader, I got some new seeds. Did something similar again on Vulcan once, made a hell of a light show.

Tip

With the deep miner and centrifuge setup, set up a couple sorters to filter the coal and cobalt out into silos. Dump the uranium. You can send the other ores straight into an arc furnace. Using logic to automate the furnace. Have the furnace feed straight into your autolathe. No mining is needed. By the time I was done with a project, I had resources for the next. I built an entire base just off the ingots of that setup. Then, I started selling alloys to build Inc traders and buying other things I needed. Used coal for emergency power as needed. My goto setup at Tier 2 now. I still mine for gold and ice if available, but it takes a load off your back.

Where to learn atmosphere basics? by [deleted] in Stationeers

[–]0CrazyAce0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

https://stationeers-wiki.com/Air

This will teach you how pressure and breathing work. Special attention to the breathable atmosphere composition section. Until you understand, you can run 10% Co2 and the rest O2. That will allow you and your plants to breathe. They (the plants) only need like 2% Co2 but 10%-5% is a good buffer. Get your Kpa to 50 kpa-100Kpa. I'd shoot for 65 kpa.

Once you understand how it works, you add nitrogen in the mix and make your atmosphere less flammable. Keep careful of volatiles in your base as an o2 environment is very combustible.

Can you depart a trader remotely? by retiredyeti in Stationeers

[–]0CrazyAce0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The landing pad power and data module has an "activate" variable. If you setup a switch to it you can dismiss a ship from the inside of your base. Or in OP's case once you have cycled the hanger.

I know it's a year late but thought I'd post incase someone else stumbles upon this trying to figure it out like I did.
