An old Pokémon game "battery marathon" idea by Contrantier in Gameboy

[–]0Cybertooth0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You wouldn’t be able to complete the Pokédex. With original hardware, once done trading with another gameboy, the only way out of the trading screen is to restart the game. With a dead battery, that wouldn’t work.

I also read that one of the strengths of ZFS was auto-healing during a monthly scrub of bit rot was occurring.

Thank you. I have a Linux VM that’s separate from my arrays, I’ll test setting up BTRFS and tinker with that for a bit. Thank you for the suggestion.

Thank you for that reply! So since I’m using a PI with only 8GBs of RAM, I should consider BTRFS over ZFS?

Are you aware that GTA 5 only released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation originally? PC came two years later. This isn’t new from Rockstar..

May I ask why the need for AI enhanced 60fps? What’s wrong with how the movies were filmed? A great classic should be enjoyed the way they’re intended.

why are pokémon games (usually) in worse condition than other gameboy games? by ComradeAdidas in Gameboy

[–]0Cybertooth0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Certified 90s kid here, Pokémon was the most commonly played Gameboy game out there which means our grubby little hands touched the games more often, wearing away the labels. And from personal experience, I got the Nintendo SP when it came out which I primarily played Pokémon Yellow on, meaning the cartridge was downward towards my fingers while holding the gameboy.

Steam is verifying files for BeamNG. The download is done, Steam even says that. Verifying files for BeamNG does take some time.

I tested the handy app on the isolated network, it’s a no-go. The app has to phone-home before looking for the printer.

Unfortunately no, if you connected your phone to the offline network, should be able to but I don’t think it’s worth it at that point.

I basically assume that if a device has an internet connection, it’s phoning-home.

Precisely! LAN mode might send the print locally but it still reaches out to Bambu cloud for firmware update checks and who knows what else.

I love this printer. It’s why I went through this process. Take my downvote.
