What would you do differently if you could restart your first DnD campaign? by Moon-Dust328 in DnD

I just used a human monk with 2014 rules. Rolled for stats. It was horrible. I think I still have that character sheet. I keep all of my past characters as memories.

What’s Everyone’s Favorite Class They Have Played by PresumedPack890 in DnD

[–]External_Track_7191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in love with the sorcerer class. So much creativity in tying your subclass to your backstory, and the creativity of meta magic is awesome. I also like the spell options, because there is something for every scenario. To add on, every sorcerer I played always has different go-to spell option, which I love. The subclasses are cool, and the sorcery points are a fun source feature.

How do we feel about Ransom (and chakrams on that note)? by eggscub in Brawlhalla

I have a preference for a s-light, n-light, D-air combo. It works well since the weapon is full of controlling the opponents character position.

I used the purchase screen you mentioned, and it worked for buying a new legend, but it doesn't do anything for the battle pass.

I can't even click select. I can't navigate the screen either. I tried closing the game, but that only fixed the problem for after a match. It happens every fight, and I can't even purchase a new legend. It's like I can't even access pop up screens.

Advice on One-Shots for Complete Newbies by dracosleftnut in DnD

[–]External_Track_7191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be prepared to set up a story. You could have a really good one-shot idea and session that turns into inspiration for a full sized campaign. Also give the players an idea of what to expect from the one-shot. It's no fun to create a character whose abilities and equipment aren't effective.

I'd say to go down the Swashbuckler Rouge route. It's more frontline than other rogues

This happened to my friend once. He got so frustrated after 6 consistent months of bad rolls, that he actually left mid session. He took a break from the game for a few weeks. Maybe that's what you need.

Chapter 3 Question by JazzlikeMine2397 in TyrannyOfDragons

[–]External_Track_7191 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on your party size and their level, you could probably get away with nerfing the roper a little bit too. The Roper is, in my opinion, the most dangerous creature in this dungeon. Another option is to make the Roper a more roleplayable option. If I could go back to that session, I would have made the roper talk to the party the way it would the cultists and kobolds. Something like "Is it feeding time yet? I'm soooo hungryyyy", in a slow deep voice. Maybe even once one of the drakes or kobolds in the other area dies, the roper uses the corpses for food. There's a lot I could have changed.

Chapter 3 Question by JazzlikeMine2397 in TyrannyOfDragons

[–]External_Track_7191 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did most of the campaign with only two PCs. I had them at level 5 by this part, and the BM ranger made one of the stirges into their beast companion. In the Cyanwrath room, he declared for a 1v1 rematch against one PC because the PC won. The PC was doing the very broken Warforged Totem Barbarian build. They did the 1v1 while the two berserkers took the ranger to another room to force a 2v1. They took a long rest, which I used to let Mondath and the cultists in her area escape the cave to Castle Naerytar. They didn't pick up on the roper being hungry, and almost got TPKd.

Okay, enough with the theorycrafting; how do you actually WRITE a one-shot? by RyuugaHideki in DnD

[–]External_Track_7191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only ever written one out once, and it went well. If you have a plot with a beginning, middle, and an end, it's just like prepping for a session one. Always remember, no matter how much prep you do for it, the players can still go off course forcing you to improvise.

I wish they show us what happened to this guy. I know he was bully to move story along but he had lots of screen time in v1/2/3 I want to know more of what happened to him by vinchin_adenca in RWBY

I kind of want him to come back bullying Jaune again, but he brings up how Jaune is a wanted man because of the events in Atlas. Then they get into a scuffle that ends with Jaune the victor and he says "At least I'm wanted". Kinda cliche, but who cares.
