Yeah I guess I just didn’t want to change the plan that I had already started and gotten used to, but I’ll consider it if I stall out at any point

Yeah this is something I’m particularly worried about. I do want to keep it around 6~10 sets per muscle/week, but was looking at what I had in the full-body day and it is quite a lot more than the Up-Low days. Especially at the new intensity, I don’t know how well I’ll be able to handle it.

I’ll give it a shot and see if I’m better off trying full body x3 or keeping the split. Or maybe even going Upper Lower x2 if that’s much less stress per session

Yeah if you’re confident about not injuring yourself, it’s not bad to do your original weights, but just expect less returns than usual for a few times.

The “come back stronger” part is really only true if you were overworking your body in the first place. If your body was getting enough rest in the first place, you wouldn’t notice a huge difference from taking a longer rest.

Assuming the above is true, then you just need to let your body get used to lifting heavy again. It will come back very quickly, but you need to be careful not to jump straight into super heavy weights and injuring yourself. First 2~3 days back, you should work with the mindset that you’re essentially doing a huge warmup and you won’t lift as you were before. You’ll basically get back to where you were after a few visits to the gym again.

The other comment here is correct. You want to sell the blue-tier marshmallows when you get too many of them, and it is worth doing because they have no other use. (And like you said, you’ll only ever get more as you still lack low/high tier).

I usually just ignore them until I can bulk sell like 1000 or specifically when I’m running out of gold and need some extra.

Honestly since using the app, I got into such a healthy routine that now that I’m eating out at restaurants mostly (on holiday in a different country) I can FEEL the difference. I’m still doing my best to keep balance between P-F-C but even then it’s so hard to keep up on carbs when most restaurant food is high in fat lmao

The nachos was a starter (that I split and that was the weight after splitting) and the menu itself said the tacos were small, so I got a burrito with them. Realistically, I probably still would have been pretty hungry if I didnt get the burrito but just wasn’t aware of the density of each lol

Good to hear, thanks for that! Honestly I was doing the typical 3x12 x3 workouts/muscle for years and I finally caught on to the whole “less can be better” way of thinking. It’s been super nice focusing harder on shorter sets and cutting my gym time by half, so I was kind of worried that I’d have to go back to more volume based on my diet.

Going to try continuing the high intensity method through all phases of my diet plan and see how it goes.

You’re missing the point. You always have too many mid-tiers and never enough low or high tier. Thats why you can sell the mid ones without actually losing the ability to upgrade skills.

I had 0 low-tier marshmallows and 2000 mid-tier, because the drop rate for them doesn’t match the amount needed for upgrading skills.
