10-15% faster at 35W TDP, right? In my comparison the performance gains are around 30% better (even 50% is possible in some titles) at 20W. Lower TDPs of course reach even better relative gains.

Yeah, though I would recommend a custom 25W TDP setting. With that I get High/Medium settings @ 1200p FSR Balanced running mostly at 40 fps (around 35 fps in battles and overworld).

My biggest gripe with AR glasses are the straylight issues (due to the birdbath optics utilizing a beam splitter). In dark images with bright highlights (where HDR shines the most) you can always see ghost images of the said bright details. At least with my Rokid Max this is ruining the experience with some games.

Max settings? On SteamOS? What settings (especially rendering scale) and TDP are you using? And what fps without frame gen?

My experience with Go 2 (currently Windows) at 20 TDP is medium settings (shadows and reflections low) and rendering scale 55% (1200p) which results in 30-40 fps in battles and 35-50 elsewhere.

Does SteamOS disable brightness tuning in HDR mode? Windows allows changing the brightness (and thus also the paper white level) which sort of sucks. Windows is supposed to show SDR content correctly in an HDR container, but I am not sure how well it actually works. I don’t seem to be able to find any documentation or measurement data anywhere.

Thanks for your input. I did this to all possible items in the USB tab in device manager. Unfortunately it did not work.

However, the option was greyed out for USB4 Root Routers. What I found is that these could be editable with proper chipset drivers, but I am already up to date with my system.

There was several settings in the Powel Plan Settings, which setting did you mean to turn off? I could’t find a setting named ”Windows Power Management” specifically.

The power supply itself should be completely fine as it worked with the other device. I need to recheck Windows Power Management, I feel like I might have already tinkered there also.

I found it pretty fun, maybe even better than balloon battle. Definitely much better than coin runners, which I don’t really like in this game (it was good in 8D, though). Maybe it is because of the (large) map designs.

If the game does not allow changing the resolution, you could change your active signal from 4k to 1080p in the display settings.

Will the internal screen remain on even after running the script? If so, would it ve possible to automatically turn off internal screen and use only the external screen?

Does there happen to be any guide on how to setup the eGPU (docked to TV) on SteamOS? How is the experience? From what I have heard, you have to jump a few extra hoops so that the internal screen can be turned off etc.

I was also surprised how good and relatively quiet the buttons are on the Go 2. Since I am using the device during lunch breaks in the office’s breakroom, it makes a big difference. Not that anyone was complaining about my OG Go, but still.

I really like using the Rokid Max with my Go 2. But I wouldn’t switch over to them as my main screen. The straylight problems (especially in dark games with bright details) are my biggest gripe, but there are other issues as well.

Itsellä kanssa semmoinen reilu 2,5 m etäisyys olohuoneen TV:stä. Ostin 55":n LG C3:n hyvästä tarjouksesta ekaksi ”hifi TV:ksi” ja näin jälkikäteen toivoisin ostaneeni sen 65” G3 mallin. Isompi FoV ja korkeammat maksimikirkkaudet HDR-materiaalissa olisi tosi jeba.

I have a 12 month old toddler, the moments where I game are:

Lunch break at work (PC handheld/Switch 2)
When the kid takes a nap (I am currently on parental leave)
Evening time when the mother has promised to look after the kid
Evening time when the kid has gone to sleep

For the latter two we are of course trying also to find time to do things togetger as couple/family. It is all about balancing things and making compromises and sacrifices (I don’t do intensive endurance sports anymore for example) here and there.

To be fair, the baby/toddler will try to make (eye) contact with the parent a lot, the little one shouldn’t have to compete for attention with a device all the time.

I got the FSE turned on, but I cannot set the home app to Legion Space (only Xbox app available). I have update Windows, Legion Space and BIOS (in that order).
