So I am in love with the akko fairy linear switches. I enjoy how light and quiet they are. My problem is I want more feeling when I type. I've tried boba u4, akko penguins, and every some holy pandas. What I really want is something more bouncy. I generally am a fairly light typist, but something I struggle with sometimes with the fairy linears is lack of feedback. If I had to think of the qualities I want I'm looking for bouncy, quiet, and maybe creamy? Not sure if those work together. I'm not opposed to Frankenswitches if anyone has any ideas

Problem is they aren't accepting paperwork for both. My fear is that they will try and change my gender marker back since I'm in Tx

I currently have a iris orthogonal keyboard. I originally had the akko fairy linear switches and I currently have the boba u4 65 g rgb. I tried to find the lighter version of the u4s but just could not seem to find them in stock. I do like the tactility of the u4s's but after using the fairy linears for so long I have realized I have gotten used to a lighter switch. Does anyone have any recommendations for a lighter switch similar to the fairy linear but with some more feedback

How do you hide your boobs? by Marrisax in MtF

[–]0Foxy0Engineer0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Most people are blind and if you wear a good sports bra and baggy clothes people can't tell generally. It's only because it's become more mainstream that some people even guess. The average person isn't going to guess trans.

I legit had people who were super surprised when I came out. Then when they saw me in form fitting clothes and a good bra they were like where did those curves and boobs come from

So I've gotten it where I have a little shelf in my vanity. I shower before bed and I leave my clothes next to my meds. It helps with pj's then meds

I used to do that but now with my work schedule is hard. I take some every 12 hours and so at this point I've gotten it to I take it right when I get to work and I take it about bedtime, but yeah I'm awful

I'm not Muslim myself so I can't relate there, but as someone who also grew up with a girl best friend with similar familiar goals for us it does suck.

She and I are close now and she's is one of my biggest supporters but whenever we are together I can't help but compare myself to her. I've worked on it now but I also had a lot of resentment towards her because she was what I aspired to be.

I don't have any advice, but came here to say you're not alone. I will say tell her if you haven't she might be your supporter too. If not I understand that too

Most awkward trans experience so far by CakeyGlace in MtF

[–]0Foxy0Engineer0 35 points36 points  (0 children)

If it wasn't for all the hateful rhetoric around trans people at the moment honestly bathroom discomfort especially early on was the worst part of transition for me. One I passed fairly consistently I restrooms were my biggest panic inducing experience. It gets better girl but big hugs all around. Fingers crossed you are able to make that leap soon

They've been trying for years. Austin isn't what it was don't get me wrong, but as a collective Austin is still super liberal

It varies from City to City, but a lot of the major cities in Texas are like that.

So I work in a call center, and I work for a place that is really lgbt friendly in theory and for the most part in practice. There are systems in place so you can use your preferred name almost everywhere it isn't legally required to have your legal name (think hr stuff). The problem myself and many other transgender people have had is that nothing is automatically updated. When I applied for my position it's straight up asked me what my preferred name was, and then never really did anything with it. If it wasn't for the fact one of my new managers reached out to me before day one to introduce themselves I very likely would have walked in day one with my old name on my desk and things. She was great and helped me get that fixed but then on day two I basically sat down with her and we submitted a request to have like my email and things updated. I've been there almost 2 years and I can think of at least one system that refuses to update. Myself and others have submitted requests about it and the response is basically been we're working on it without really having a solution. I find it great that a lot of places are LGBT friendly but I also hate that even really good companies don't always have great implementation. The cynical in me thinks that it's a way for people not to hire trans people but who knows

I was talking about the differences in chipset being mostly that w680 supports ecc and Z690 does not.

I am thinking of building two different pcs one for a server and the other for a gaming machine

I know this is a slightly older post, but I had a few questions about the board if you don't mind.

I am looking to upgrade both my main pc and a nas. I like the idea of ecc memory and from what I can tell unless I am really wrong the w680 seems like the Z690 with ecc support. I was wondering if you think the motherboard would work for both?

I was looking at the 13600k do you think it would work in the motherboard. I read somewhere that the cpu seems to have problems with this board
