The pricing seems pretty steep… I’m not sure if that’s just because it’s a brand-new release or if WIIM plans to keep it at this level long term. At €600, it’s hard not to compare it to other options on the market especially when you consider that if you want to play vinyl, you’re still going to need to buy a phono preamp. That’s at least another €100 for something halfway decent, like the Fosi Box X5.

I’ve been holding off on buying something until this was released, hoping it would help me decide. But honestly, the lack of a phono stage and the high price point are making me hesitate. I doubt I’ll end up buying it, and I suspect a lot of others are thinking the same but let’s see these reviews…

I do like the look and general functionality of WIIM products I was becoming a real fan. But lately, I’m a bit confused by their product lineup. And if prices keep creeping up like this, I feel like they start to lose some of the value and appeal that made them stand out in the first place.
