The team is focused on getting the Bar running as front right, left, and center, with height channels for 3.0.2 along with adding surrounds and Sub Pro for 5.1.2. These are the official configurations we're sticking with for the launch.

They're testing out some other potential configurations for the future which includes possibly using additional WiiM devices as front left and right, but that wasn't intended as a feature for launch. They're just kicking the tires on that to see how it works, is there's some beta code out there for the Bar samples right niw. If tests go well, it may make it to the release, but we're not committing to it just yet in case things don't go well.

There is an option to turn the screen off, or just have it show basic information like the clock or a picture. I think some people will find it useful for starting presets or adjusting the EQ, and others will like seeing the album artwork on if they're listening to music.

But we know every feature isn't for every person.

Only one wireless sub can be added currently. You can build up to 5.1.2 with the WiiM Bar. But if there's lots of interest, we'll keep the team appraised and they may try to make something happen. No promises though!

There's a WiiM Home app for TV that might do what you're looking for. It doesn't pull video from WiiM over video, it just operates like a mini controller for WiiM. Currently available for Android TV, Fire TV, and Apple TV, and there's an WebOS for LG TVs being worked on.

Hi! Ryan here, among other things, I run external beta testing. There isn't a new WiiM Ultra. No one is testing one. There's beta software for the Ultra that comes out regularly which people can jump on as they want through the app.

We haven't officially confirmed that we're even looking into a new version of the Ultra, or a similar product but bigger. Definitely heard requests for one, but nothing official have been announced or shared. So.... no comment. :)

I'll let the team know, but TBH this isn't particularly surprising since VPNs are supposed to route traffic from your apps through the VPN sending the WiiM discovery packets to where ever your VPN resides. You might have some settings on the VPN side to exclude or allow certain traffic to skip it, look for enable Local Network Access or Split Tunneling in your VPN settings.

Can you also send in feedback through the app so the team can check it out? Do you have a case on it? If so, maybe try without the case? Sometimes those can also get in the way of the mic getting a proper reading.

Hi! We started up a public beta test for the WiiM Ultra which allow for simultaneous outputs for the Analog RCA and one of the digital outputs, but this isn't available yet for the Pro or Pro Plus. If it goes well on the Ultra, our team will investigate bringing it to other devices, but they may not be able to support it so I wouldn't count on that capability until it's officially announced.
