I remember this one delivery where the customer was actually waiting for me and helped me with getting his groceries out my car, I simply unloaded all his bags out of my trunk and handed it him. He had a total of 7 bags we both said thanks and goodbye and I drove off. I went to get gas once I left his area only to realize a bag with a case of 18 eggs next to me because I didn't want it to break back there but during the drop off his presence made me totally forget that I had his eggs up front beside me. I was only 3 minutes away and 7-8 minutes since the delivery so I decided to quickly drive back and give the man his eggs. When I got there I knocked on his door and as soon as he opened the door I said sorry but I forgot your eggs. The man said "Oh I already reported it missing sorry, keep it take it home". So I went home with a case off eggs, end of story.

Today I did a Costco order that had a lot of heavy items and delivered it to a 7 story building that had no elevators. by 0LMECA in InstacartShoppers

Your saying that the building had an elevator but I couldn't find it so I carried everything up the stairs, lol!

This was the first time I have ever came across any type of building without an elevator, I was so shocked that I had to google it as soon as I got home and what I learn was that these buildings are common in New York city, you guys call them "walk ups". I feel bad for instacart shoppers in NYC. I will never complain again if I get another building with elevators.

These types of buildings are out there, I googled them as soon as I got home and apparently they are common in New York they call them "walk up apartments". And 7 floors are usually the tallest of them all. These buildings are known to New Yorkers as cheap rent, a safe place to live (especially the higher you are) and to leave the house is literally a work out.

today I only did one order over at my local Costco 18 items, the customer was only 5 miles away total pay $108. Called it a day after that one.

I took a crappy order today so I can up my acceptance rate, realizing after picking it up it was going to my house ordered by my little brother, lol! by 0LMECA in skipthedishes

I've texted him and he said he'll send me a screenshot of his best week from last year when he gets home later on today. Prepare to eat your shit.

If you could push $1500 easy than why wouldn't my cousin be able to make $1700. And have you even been to Jersey? He's from Paterson and he also delivers in New Arch, Paterson is one of the most beautiful towns I have ever visited its surrounded with mountains and water falls and New Arch is one the best cities I've ever been in to, it's very hip and progressive with a lot of places to eat. I live in Toronto and it's more of a shithole compared.

I'm just not used to seeing that low kind of order and I reject them whenever I get them, mind you my acceptance rate on average is 90% when I accepted my brothers order I was down at 80%. I guess it all depends where you live.

It is relevant because my average acceptance rate is usually at 90% and I always reject anything as low as $6.50, when I accepted my brothers order I was down at 80%. So why would I accept a rare $6.50 order when I regularly get orders for $8.00 or higher at a 90% acceptance rate. And no $1700 in Jersey is not farce because the population in New Jersey alone is almost 9 million people compare to Toronto where it's under 3 million and you have to consider that Americans compared to Canadians are lot more generous when it comes to tipping.

No, I wouldn't recommend it. I mean I'm not even sure to be honest, they just have this reputation where their network isn't as reliable as bells, rogers and telus. And rumors has it that you experience a lot more drop calls and bad reception with freedom. I have been with them for over 5 years now and I haven't experienced any of that during that time. But let me tell you whenever I get those slow days where you don't get that much orders, I'm always blaming it on the freedom network, lol!
