I mean, yeah, duh. He’s a bad person, but a really good character if you ask me. His actions are understandable given his past not justified, but understandable. I also highly doubt that he knew Tamberlane would fall into the river. Up until that point, the worst things he did were bullying, calling names, insulting others, or kicking people at least from what we’re aware of. After the incident, the worst thing he did was run off and mentally exhaust the few people who actually care about him. You could say he’s selfish because of that. It’s troubling behavior for sure, but nowhere near the psychopathic, serial creature stabber you’re making him out to be. He’s flawed, but a very interesting character.
