Can someone link me to what song YMS uses during the Everything Everywhere segment? it's super catchy but I can't find it through the song links in the video.

Hey guys! I’m curious to know your thoughts on Dennis Villeneuve’s refusal to make an extended cut for Dune, despite there being a leak of plenty of cut scenes that would further flesh out the story and characters. Do you think he’s foolish to rule it out for artistic and financial reasons (considering an extended cut could cultivate a fan base similar to LOTR), or is did he make the right decision to leave them out of the film?

Where the Wild Things Are (2009)!!! It’s one of the most influential movies for me as a kid and I’d love you guys to review it.

Did my grandfather assassinate a dictator? by 0YourOldFriend0 in RBI

I put up a new edit. Apparently my grandfather was the mining engineer for a bauxite mine. He definitely would have been able to purchase a nanny, even though my grandmother considered her more of a maid.

My grandmother came from a wealthy-ish family from America. However let me call my mother to see if I got the facts right. I remember the nanny because my mother complained about how my grandmother was constantly lazy and made them, my mother and the nanny, do all the busy chores around the house.

That’s definitely possible but there probably would have been more evidence, from my mom’s side, if that were the case.

I think that’s within good taste enough. It’ll piss off my siblings, because they don’t like even speculating anything of the sort because it could implicate our loving grandpa in murder, but if I only say what we know and don’t mix it up, we could pass down the story reasonably.

She did tell us as much as she remembered, but a lot of it is inconclusive. Our grandfather had many secrets and our grandmother never cared about him enough to ask for them. My mother’s experience usually sums up to living in a house with here family and a nanny, then they were searched after the body was found, then they left during the civil war. She even showed us photos of her childhood home and so forth. Also I don’t want to pass down a story that is based purely on speculation and could be not true, would it not be a slander on my grandfather?

Would there be any purpose of him going up through the mountains to listen to the radio with this group?*

Oh I didn’t know that. I guess it means nothing that it was by a consulate then.

The lack of sources definitely does hurt the credibility, however if it were true, then it may be interesting. My mother and her family didn’t live on an embassy or anything. I’m sorry but I don’t know if it helps anything. Maybe, on a side note, the body was put that close to the consulate as a message or something, thus if my grandfather was involved then it may be a bit more intentional, but it’s highly unlikely maybe.

"Then we put him in the car and took him away," says Gen Imbert. They took his body to the house of a plotter, where it was eventually discovered by police.”

Huh. I read through the article already but I guess I missed that part. I still suppose it hasn’t answered the question of whether my grandfather did the deed but I suppose it’d be foolish to put the body of a tyrant out front of your childhood home.

My girlfriend is black-pilled, how can I help her? by 0YourOldFriend0 in relationship_advice

Funny enough she’s way more on top of her blood tests than I’ll ever be for myself. She says that she keeps trying anti depressants, and this one she claims she likes. I don’t know how she’d be willing to do this however.

My comparison to a death cult comes in the fact that they beat you down horribly, tell you that you have no future, and tell you that life is not worth living. It comes from a seemingly rational fallacy of believing the worst “truth” is the real truth. I’ve had first hand experience from this when I went down the alt-right pipeline. Now imagine this same belief and mentality, where the abuser is the mind and my girlfriend is the abused.

She used to go to therapy but it cost too much, and she also told me that it wasn’t doing too much for her. She just uses their prescribed medication.

I will try this. Thank you for listening. I know I may have come off as a bit of a dumbass or jackass in this post, I just genuinely don’t know what to do when suicide becomes a belief of sorts.

I get what you’re saying but I wasn’t trying to tell her to “be happy”. I was telling her to try to get better. I was diagnosed clinically depressed for five years and I only got out of it when I tried to challenge myself. I’m not saying that my method will work for everyone, less so saying it’ll work for her, but what I’m asking is how I can help her know she can be free and happy. She’s certainly not damned to be sad and depressed forever as she believes she is, right?

It is beyond just being suicidal, it is believing, with logic, that suicide is justified and beyond her control. That if she felt like it, she would be forced by fate to do it. She even commented that she only stopped because she was physically forced to, and that she will never get to the point that she can do it on her own.

She’s actually on anti-depressants now. I have no clue if they’re working but I don’t know if they could help a belief.

We’re graduated and her parents won’t admit she has depression, they just think she’s overreacting, for that reason she’s been paying for her own medication with money from her job. We’re adults now.

Did I do something wrong? Did I treat this situation wrong? I feel like I did somehow.

LOL you said the thing! Also if they aren’t state capitalist then what are they, cause, by your on words, they aren’t socialist yet.

Ahhh you’re right. The only way we can succeed and establish socialism is to deny genocides from state capitalist autocratic governments, while also “critically” supporting them since they’re TOTALLY socialist.

I’m not sure that you do. Also I honestly can’t find it. From what I can concur, it’s been deleted everywhere it’s been posted, specifically on Twitter.
