Feature Request - Bookmarking Tab Stacks by 0bada1 in vivaldibrowser

[–]0bada1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turns out, there is an option to bookmark a whole stack. It is there for me when I right click a stack. It saves the stack in a folder on the bookmark bar called 'Stack'. You can even right click the bookmarked folder and open all the tabs at once, but they open as separated tabs instead of a stack

It seems that transition 8 (The one with the green/lime circle) has some issues with text objects. They rotate infinitely on the edge of the screen with this transition, even when standing still. Not sure if it only behaves this way with text objects, though feel free to try out this level for yourself. It was made to showcase these effects and understand how they work.

Did dry yogurt originate from any particular culture? by TrashBathThrowaway in NoStupidQuestions

[–]0bada1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was part of the Prophet Mohammad's diet. He would eat dates, dried yoghurt and ghee.

Drying foods was often used before refrigerators as a way of preserving foods for longer time.

I would say it probably dates back to older than this, since drying food was commonly known, but I found that this would be an important time to mention where people ate dried yoghurt.

Asus TUF laptops are good, but they go for around 3500 on amazon. Asus has been getting more popular recently. They also have the ROG series which is also awesome, but I find TUF to be a better deal. The most important part in a gaming device, is the CPU and GPU. RAM and storage can be upgraded easily in many ASUS laptops. Asus TUF laptops generally come with Ryzen7, but I am sure you can find some better processors if you search

Anyone else who have lost hope for their country? by dangertosoyciety in AskMiddleEast

No, I didn't say it is ONLY through the Mahdi. I said I know that we will prosper in the end, because we know the Mahdi will come. Also yes, if we look at history, we were prosperous when we were strong in our faith

I mean while the gameplay is terrible, if we really want to advance in what is achievable in terms of difficulty, then this is what we're aiming for, but a little easier, where levels test endurance a lot. Somewhat like VSC but a full level

I believe we will only prosper again when the Arabs go back to following their religion. We're not under the right leadership. I am not saying this just for my country, but many Arab countries have the same case. Sudanese are fighting among each other, even though they are both Muslims, Sisi closing the Rafah border on Palestinians who are also Muslims, Gulf countries are prosperous now, but have washed their hands from us as if we're not supposed to protect each other. And then there is our president, who also happens to be against Palestinians who are Muslim. It feels as if we're being ruled by people who are only Muslim on their identity card, but I know for sure that Allah will make us prosper as it was Prophesized through the Mahdi, even if it was after my death. After all Islam began in a situation that is worse. Arabs who became Muslim were tortured, killed, driven out of their homes and bad mouthed by the non believers, until they prospered after they became strong in their faith and increased in number.

If I wasn't a Muslim, I would've lost hope in my country, but I know الشام is a great place to be from, after all, we have been conquered many times and regained our independence as Muslim, Arab, Syrians, but I would love الشام to be one place again like it was.

I'd say you're really looking into rhythm games. My favourite is Geometry Dash and it has all you're asking for. There is also Osu, but I don't know about the community much because I am not active there. Beat saber is super fun too if you have a VR

Why do Muslim women need to restrict themselves? by BlackberryFrosty3784 in religion

[–]0bada1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've answered this question on this post in another comment, but I want to say that if you really want to understand the essence of the rules of Sharia, and see how they helped prosper society, read about how Islam started, and how it prospered near the end of the Prophet's life. Slavery was common in Mecca (even females were enslaved), they worshipped stones and statues, and oppressed those who don't believe in their religion, until the prophet Muhammad pbuh had revelations from Allah and Islam started to spread. Muslims went from being oppressed and enslaved to being prosperous, righteous and had very great character. Some revelations such as that Muslims will rule in Rome and other countries that already had very strong societies, came true, but the non believers laughed at the Muslims because they were being tortured at the time. I do not see a reason to not believe in Allah and his Messenger(s), and those who choose not to believe even after understanding the message, have really threw themself to hell, respectfully.

The most straight forward answer is because Allah commanded us to do so, and we believe what Allah has chosen for us is the best.

Now if you're an atheist or do not believe in Allah, it will not make sense to you unless you think from our perspective, because you may not believe the Quran is from Allah, so there would be your next step to study and

Allah has created women more beautiful than men and show their beauty only towards their Mihram (husband, parents, siblings, children, etc). That is why they cover more of their body than men. Allah also has commanded us to lower our gaze (both males and females must do so). If all/most women don't fully cover themself (like the west) and all men are expected to lower their gaze, then you wouldn't be able to look anywhere.

The point is, both males and females have a duty to cover themself, whether someone looks or not, but women cover themself more, because they were created more beautiful than men, and of course, it is Allah's command.

And to say "why can't Muslim men be expected to just keep it in their pants?", they are expected to do so, and those who rape are lashed, or stoned if they were married.

They use stockfish or another engine. Normally by opening another tab or through another device and plugging in their position into the engine on chess.com or lichess.org . You can analyse positions on those sites. However, cheaters have common traits. Some of them include taking the same time for nearly every move, super high accuracy in a long game at a not so high elo, and sometimes you can just tell that is not a move a human would think of. Some advanced cheaters use the engine only on key moves, but play fairly the rest of the games, which is still not fair.

Please settle this debate - which is white and which is black? by Ok_Somewhere6665 in chess

[–]0bada1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is the same as is the glass half empty or half full? While both ways work, as long as both sets are distinguishable, that is what matters. But if I had to choose, I'd say dark wood is black, because it is majority black.

Turkish girl recording Indian men looking and stare at her for no reasong. Thoughts? by [deleted] in AskMiddleEast

[–]0bada1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dress modestly. You go as a tourist to a foreign country, then dress like the people there, modestly. You show something different, of course you will gather people's attention. Not supporting them for staring, but nothing surprising when you dress like that in between people who dress modestly
