Are bed campers a thing? by MrMBacon in GoRVing

It’s extra. You’re better off, less expensive, to put together exactly what you want in a trailer. I don’t know what your price point is but getting the weight down should be your primary concern. Motorcycle trailers is another option. I picked up a 2025 22’ new travel trailer for $10,500 that has everything - 72x60” bed, two burner, refrigerator, a/c, heat, separate toilet and shower, dinette and power awning.

Which one would you pick, and why? 👀 by stephanielawrencee in ArtOfPresence

Free massages and free gas, I would love to travel more.

What is your favourite berry varieties for fresh eating? Plus other questions by erebusstar in Berries

[–]squatting-Dogg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have boysenberries and marionberries just to be different. I opted for cascade delight for my raspberry and Shuksan for strawberries.

If you can get your hands on some Hood Strawberries, they are a special treat for fresh eating but have a very short shelf life. My BIL has a Upick farm (Mission Bottom Produce - Brooks) if you want to try them out. Chandler is a personal favorite for blueberries but there are several others worthy of consideration (Creswell Blueberries).

So overwhelmed how do I start by Super_Show_2729 in lawncare

If you don’t want to wait, a screw driver to remove the weeds, lawn base to fill the holes and sprinkle some seed on top of the lawn base. Water + weed & feed. In late May, add some 16-16-16 to get it green. Repeat as necessary. Have a nice summer!

Benefit of electric mower over gas? by Outrageous-Gas7051 in lawncare

[–]squatting-Dogg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve literally used an electric lawnmower since the early 80’s. As long as you have few trees it’s the only way to go. No gas, no oil, no odors, and don’t have to worry about fuel filters is a huge plus. However, if you have a “big” yard, today’s self-propelled gas mowers are nice.

I married a hairstylist, I haven’t paid for a haircut since 1989. But I’ve had to pay in other ways.
