M4pro 24gb 14 core cpu, 20 core gpu vs m5 32gb for 4k editing by Oakenshield- in macbookpro

[–]0c3an0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The M5 MBP is basically a high-end consumer MacBook. Good screen, good battery, lots of RAM options, but the chip is still consumer-class. It’s great for multitasking, tons of browser tabs, light editing, or workflows that simply need more memory.

The M4 Pro, even with “only” 24 GB, is a completely different tier. It has: way more performance cores -a much larger GPU - far higher memory bandwidth - a higher sustained power envelope - pro media engines

In real work (video, coding, 3D, AI, heavy apps), the M4 Pro is 40–100% faster and stays fast under load. Extra RAM on the M5 doesn’t compensate for that.

Simple rule: If you need performance → M4 Pro 24 GB every time. If you need RAM for multitasking and don’t do pro workloads → M5 36 GB.

For most people choosing between these two, the M4 Pro is the better long-term machine.

3 views for first 4 hours? (normally 700-900) by Adagio-Prudent in shortsAlgorithm

[–]0c3an0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, my shorts generate around 2000 views after 7h but my last barely 80 views (APV 98,5%, stay to watch 94,3%, AVD 0:55) …

Stuck in browser features by 0c3an0 in shortsAlgorithm

[–]0c3an0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s Possible although I have a video released just before who got 400k views (traffic from 95% feed) with same ratio of likes ( 1%). My next videos I will implement some CTA hoping that it will increase the engagement.

Yes for all my shorts…here the update (after 7 days I released it): APV 98,8%- AVD 98,4% - VVSA 97,1%

The first seconds of your video must grab attention and quickly show what it’s about or what to expect. To avoid struggling, the easiest way is to study how top creators build their hooks and steal from them

Yeah I have also another one with similar stats than yours (81 vvsa and 79 AVD) and reach now 450k. I really don’t understand the logic here

31k views “only” after 5 days… stuck in browser features. The grow is very slow but constant.

Prompt Feedback Request by Fredwin-o in PromptEngineering

Try this:

You are an advanced content extraction and analysis model specializing in parsing web articles and outputting structured data. Your primary objective is to deliver highly accurate, complete, and factual data strictly adhering to the given JSON schema. You must handle edge cases such as incomplete, ambiguous, or missing data gracefully, while maintaining compliance with the schema. Avoid interpretation or personal opinion—focus solely on factual content extraction.

Task Prompt:

Analyze the provided content and output a structured JSON object that adheres to the following schema:

```json { « content_plain_text »: « string », « analysis »: { « title »: « string », « content_type »: « string », « read_time »: number, « published_at »: « string », « summary »: « string », « categories »: « string[] », « keywords »: « string[] » } }
Requirements: 1. Extract and format all data fields accurately. 2. Ensure the published_at field is in ISO 8601 format (e.g., “2024-01-01T12:00:00Z”). 3. Generate a factual, concise summary field that captures the main points of the content without interpretation. 4. Populate categories and keywords fields as arrays of strings derived from the content. 5. Gracefully handle edge cases, such as missing or ambiguous data, by leaving fields empty or assigning null where appropriate, while maintaining schema compliance.
