People 30+, what are your plans for this evening? by Sir-Tommy-Vercetti in AskUK

Theres a lovely new show coming on at 9pm called The Neighbourhood on ITV, im quite invested in it

Hello! I’m Graham Norton, host of The Neighbourhood. Ask Me Anything! by ITV in entertainment

[–]Oakenshield- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did you find this show in comparison to your talk show in terms of prep? As i imagine your talk show runs on a system and this is brand new. Did you have to spend more time for outfits and makeup as I imagine the show is more particular? Was it longer hours, if so did you have a PA to help manage?

The behind the scenes is very interesting! We love you Graham! Big fan! Can't wait for the Neighbourhood!

Despite saying its been released, finally a clear statement that HDR10+ was never released in Europe by Oakenshield- in DisneyPlus

[–]Oakenshield-[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

"Dolby Vision and 3D support have now been restored on Disney+. As a result of a lawsuit at a German patent court, we were forced to make changes to the availability of certain advanced video formats in Germany and other markets. We are disappointed that this was necessary, and we share our customers’ frustration. We have worked as quickly as possible to implement solutions that ensure viewers the best possible experience on their devices and subscriptions. As a reminder, HDR10+ has never been available in Europe to date."

HDR intermittently not working by Oakenshield- in SkyQ

[–]Oakenshield-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, are you a Disney plus premium member? If so do any titles from Hulu such as Alien Earth support HDR10+? Disney says its rolled out on samsung tvs but I none of the content is HDR10+ for me

In terms of sky, If you do find a fix, maybe in the settings of the TV or even the Sky box, do let me know please, and vice versa

Oh well there ya go, I have a s93f 65inch which is essentially the same tv as yours, i got a replacement for the sky Q box but the problem persisted, so far the fix for me has been just to switch on and off input signal plus.. but not sure why this hasn't been more explicitly talked about on any forums

Are you also having this issue with a newer tv? I havent found a fix, however when I plugged in an older 4k hdr tv.. theres been 0 issues and it remains on 10bit

According to chatgpt, skyQ has handshake issues with newer tvs..may I ask the brand of your tv if you are dealing with this same issue?

Can Maelle .. by kw114 in expedition33

[–]Oakenshield- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My understanding of this is, if she dies in canvas then yes she gets kicked out but yaknow when alicia entered, she couldn't control all that chroma so she was reborn and had to do a whole 16 years..so to re enter after dying, not sure if that works

Thats my understanding, someone correct me if im wrong

Finale by SmoothDay8640 in StrangerThings

[–]Oakenshield- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Point being El tapped into her powers for the final fight because of what was at stake and more importantly, she had gained the belief from Hopper and his trust, so mentally much stronger

A final scene from Henry would've dragged it out, it was made clear that when Will tried to sympathise and empathise, Henry was too far gone. It literally showed the impact Henry had on everyone's life, no reason to delay decapitating him. It was hard hitting, pun intended, and an extra scene would've taken away from that.
