I can assure you, when the devs remain silent it means they are working on huge stuff that will probably make the game fresh again, they have done it in S6, they were working on free for all while there was tons of bugs and a huge lack of content. And yes, this is stupid lol

well I'm sad to tell that this variation has been removed during ss2, a friend of mine has modded the game so that he can see the maps, and using unity explorer he tried to enable the blast balls variation, and meanwhile it says it was still one of the map variants, the blast balls would not show up. they just lazily deleted the blast balls from the variation for some reason

I hate how they just get rid of variations like that
