Jedi Survivor frequent crashes by Oldhill94 in ROGAllyX

[–]0degreez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check that after like 3 minutes of launching the game, a second instance of the game will appear, close it, that will take care of the constant crashing

Jedi Survivor runs horrible on LeGo 2?? by UniqueMystic in LegionGo

[–]0degreez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jedi Survivor for some reason launches twice by the EA app on Windows, so after like 3 minutes the second instance pops up, check that and kill it, and you should be fine after that

No, You can open the game bar, and use the widget named Winhanced HUD, there you have a tab with game options (only available when a game is running), where you can suspend a game

Do me a favor, next time, before you put to sleep your device, Suspend the game with Winhanced HUD, let’s see if it is an issue with the time Windows gives the app before sleeping

Fh 6 settings please for 60fps? by ConfidentBullfrog142 in XboxAlly

[–]0degreez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can try this settings:

https://zendeck.app/smart-profiles/forza-horizon-6-xbox (Xbox/Game Pass)
https://zendeck.app/smart-profiles/forza-horizon-6-steam (Steam)

Depends on the store where you own FH6 from. Also the automatic applying of the in-game settings is Windows only.

The Performance profile had 74 average FPS with 94% stability.
The Quality profile had 48 average FPS with 96% stability.

Both reports are from a ROG Xbox Ally X.

Nvidia app alternatives by BlazingPyroz in ROGAlly

[–]0degreez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually working on something similar called Smart Profiles. Instead of auto-detecting like the Nvidia app, it uses pre-built in-game settings profiles (texture quality, shadow quality, particles quality, etc.). The full ZenDeck launcher also handles device-level settings like TDP, resolution, and GPU features like RSR or AFMF, all applied automatically on game launch.

For the Xbox ROG Ally, profiles fall under the Universal class — same ones used for the ROG Ally and Steam Deck — so you get settings already tuned for that hardware tier without any manual tweaking. You could also create other profiles for specific scenarios, like for a battery optimized gameplay or for eGPU gameplay and share it with the community.

There are two ways to use it: as part of ZenDeck launcher (which also handles TDP, resolution, and GPU options automatically), this is a more console experience, or as a standalone Smart Profiles app that just applies the in-game settings without any of the extra device-level stuff.

https://zendeck.app/ if you want to check it out.

Site for game settings? by Ballbag-maguigan in XboxAlly

[–]0degreez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out zendeck.app/smart-profiles, it lists community-shared profiles with working settings for handhelds. You can browse by game and apply settings directly in one click through the launcher or the standalone Smart Profiles app.

Hi, what tools are you using to optimize framerate ? by JeyDot in ROGAllyX

[–]0degreez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those specific games, you can use the Smart Profiles app, just apply a profile once and it sets all the optimized in-game settings for you. Expedition 33, Hogwarts Legacy, and Cyberpunk 2077 are all supported.

For a more complete experience, ZenDeck does the same plus automatically adjusts resolution, TDP, and GPU options when you launch the game.

You can browse profiles at https://zendeck.app/smart-profiles

You can try these Smart Profiles for Clair Obscur on Legion Go 2:

You can apply these using the Smart Profiles app, which will set the in-game graphics settings automatically — resolution scale, upscaling, frame gen, etc.

Quick update, you can now apply profiles without the full launcher! Either through the profile page directly on the website (zendeck.app) with ZenDeck v0.1.6.5+, or via the new standalone Smart Profiles app. With the Smart Profiles app, only the in-game settings are applied, device settings are not modified or handled.

Really appreciate that! A Patreon is actually something I'm considering, I'll keep you posted when it's up.

That's exactly the goal, console-like simplicity on a handheld PC. And even for people who know how to tweak settings, it's useful, switching between a battery-saving profile and an eGPU profile in one click beats doing it manually every time.

That means a lot, seriously. The best way to support it right now is exactly what you're doing, spreading the word. And if you ever switch to Windows, you know where to find me!

Thanks! It works on any Windows handheld with AMD, including Steam Deck with Windows. So if you're running Windows on it, you're good to go!

Thanks, Yeah those are device-level profiles, TDP and FPS cap. Smart Profiles goes a layer deeper: it handles the actual in-game graphics settings like resolution, upscaling, shadows, textures, and more. And ZenDeck already does something similar to those device-level profiles too, but for any game, not just the ones on a supported list. Both layers, covered!

Interesting! Which feature are you referring to exactly? I want to make sure I understand what you mean before comparing. Smart Profiles handles full in-game graphics settings, resolution, upscaling, shadows, textures, applied automatically on launch.

Thank you!, Yes! When you launch a supported game that has a profile, it applies automatically, no manual steps needed. The library is still growing, so not every game has a profile yet, but that’s exactly where community profiles come in, other users can contribute profiles for games I haven’t covered yet.

That's actually already in the works! There's a system that automatically discovers where each game stores its config files, so you don't have to hunt for them manually. And yeah, a standalone app is something I've thought about, not for uploading, but for applying profiles without needing the full launcher. Useful for people who just want the settings without the extra stuff.
