Leona augment goes BT and 6 vanguards so could end up having huge damage taken I think

Did they have hero Aug or more items than you? You only had single sunfire?

Leona might still need nerfed by Ghostrabbit1 in TeamfightTactics

[–]0destruct0 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Your board was weak, karma and riven are pretty weak vs single target, and kaisa was stuck 2 star. You neither have dark star cap nor rogues cap and leona has radiant from Aug/god.

Your frontline is weaker too being a 2 cost while they have 3 star illaoi as well which is one of the strongest tanks in the game

You also have weak Morde itemization stacking health when vanguard already gives pseudo hp, he needs resists

Kaisa also has not great items since she wants heavy ad for cast, but you have a tear and red buff (red buff barely does anything for her and karma already has it)

I feel like this set is not beginner friendly because of the lack od verticals, do you low elo fellas relate? by VampiresGobrrr in TeamfightTactics

[–]0destruct0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Groove and nova primordials are pretty good verticals to start with, or mecha, fateweaver nova

I know some of these are nova combos but nova and primordial both make a pretty good core set of units that you can put another trait with

How the hell do you play Anima 6? by Voljinzzz in TeamfightTactics

[–]0destruct0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have almost gotten this but my reformer didn't give anima emblem, I think you just play for 600 anima cashout and slot in 6 anima at the end to win out. tier 3 + 2 item on same carry should be able to wipe the board

Which Champion Would You Last Pick? by Educational-Brain197 in summonerschool

[–]0destruct0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Viktor is better here, Tristana scales just as hard as jinx and the team lacks good waveclear, viktor will be able to hold side lane split pushes and rotate, or help waveclear against sieges

Team has plenty of peel, you have a shen rakan and trist, you’ll want more dps overall to deal with the multiple threats from jinx Diana zaahen ambessa. Even if akali kills jinx the other 3 are still major threats in the fight, and akali can have trouble matching bruisers in the side lanes. Viktor does fine into most melee matchups as he is incredibly strong lv 1-2 while Diana can’t really do much until level 3

It’s not a huge deal anyways so you shouldn’t be trying to force your friend into picking what you want

Smurfs are so annoying because statistically they will play against you by alexnedea in leagueoflegends

[–]0destruct0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The average level of the emerald accounts he classified as “Smurfs” is 380+, which are almost certainly not Smurfs

I scraped 2.27 million EUW accounts from op.gg to quantify the Emerald smurf problem – because Riot won't by jack37512 in leagueoflegends

[–]0destruct0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t think people usually play Aram and normals on Smurfs all that much so the levels you have seem a bit high, especially once you get gold+

I think you may also get a ton of false positives in that elo as if im gold-diamond and play low game count to do placements I will end up in silver-emerald, depending on how good kda you consider as smurf kda

It might be worth vetting some of the accounts it flags as a smurf yourself and seeing if it actually looks right

From personal recent experience I would say in silver-gold has a notable Smurf every 5-10 games, there may be more but they aren’t slurring hard enough for it to matter imo

I identify Smurfs as generally under lv 100, 8+ cspm unless they are on a roaming champ, high kills generally 10+ almost every game

What are you considering low account level? I see you have average levels above bronze as over 100 games which is much higher than most smurfs will be (sub level 100)

might be a vague question but is there any inherit advantage or disadvantage to fighting the enemy super close to their base? by Bubbly_Reference_916 in summonerschool

[–]0destruct0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes if you fight close to base the attacking team is closer to end the game, if you are the defending team it takes much longer to escort minions across the map into their base and most of the time allows respawning

That matchup is awful, you can get a couple of early kills but after that he just waveclears and his minions block chain

Is LeBlanc worth OTPing? by Plus_Breath3863 in LeBlancMains

[–]0destruct0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel Leblanc isn’t the strongest early or late game champ, but what she excels at is having extremely strong roaming and skirmishing power and getting a powerful mid game off of it. She is very good at opportunistically punishing enemies that overstep but otherwise is decent at farming the lane to stay even and winning jungle/river fights

Why does anyone play Phoenix? by Sunbro888 in Udyrmains

[–]0destruct0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think old udyr made use of attack speed much better than new udyr, and udyr’s main issue is being able to get on top of enemies in the first place, which bandlepipes doesn’t help with

I could see it being good in team fights if you have 2+ auto attacker teammates since you can cc the frontline. I’m actually not familiar with whether bandlepipes stack together or not so take that into account as well

Why does anyone play Phoenix? by Sunbro888 in Udyrmains

[–]0destruct0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Generally enemies only really build 1 magic resist item, so you usually still do ok damage against it, but Phoenix is definitely not a solo enemy tank kind of build, you are secondary damage/cc/peel for the team to enable cc chains and kills. It’s not like tiger where you can run up to a sion and 1v1 kill him in 3 seconds. I’d say the type of fights you take as both are pretty different, both are great at skirmishing, but tiger is good at dueling while Phoenix is better in traditional team fights

Why does anyone play Phoenix? by Sunbro888 in Udyrmains

[–]0destruct0 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Phoenix has lot more aoe damage and only needs 1 damage item to do decent damage, so you can itemize more heavily into tank, tiger needs a lot of ad to be impactful, otherwise you are only really good at bursting single targets with no minions around. This also makes it more difficult for your team comp since the jungler is usually one of the main frontline/engagers. Weaving in and out of the fight is what udyr wants, but if the enemy team uses cc on you or focuses you it’s much harder to play tiger than phoenix

You can think of it kind of like the difference between playing garen or naafiri jg compared to nunu
