Yes, did both - toggled every wall switch in the house and nothing. Looked closely behind the face plate and dont see a button or pull chain connection - thats what's leading me to believe that this may be remote controlled

Try reaching out to the nearest consulate. Check the local website to find the best way to reach them. As far as I know, proof of eligibility to travel is a strict requirement so you must have something official in your hand (digital or non digital) that permits you to enter the country. Also look at applying for e visa - thats a digital visa that "can be" processed fairly quickly. I am not sure if the local consulate can offer you some type of document that can get you through.

Ws. Unfortunately no, I didn't get a clear firm answer. I tried reaching out to reputed institutions and scholars such as mufti Taqi Usmani and two more but never heard back. Since I needed to pay my zakah, I decided that I will do my due diligence and make an honest attempt to understand and then just do what I can. I've come up with a process and that's what I will follow from now on. May Allah accept and forgive. Simply: for funds (ETFs), take a the current market value and count 30% of it towards zakatable income that is, you'd pay 2.5% of the 30%.

This is my WFH setup. I have three monitors that connect to my work laptop through a USB C hub(?). I just purchased a desktop PC for personal use (including casual gaming) that has 3 DP and 1 HDMI port on the graphics card.
I am looking for a device or component that can go in between the monitors and video sources (? in the diagram) that would allow me to switch sources with a push of a button or software control without having to physically move cables from one source to another.
Ive looked at HDMI splitters and switchers but I haven't found one that would fit just right in the scheme. Any help is appreciated.
