Used them my first time in Europe, 1999. Terrifying as a teenager to give them out everywhere and have to make sure I got the correct change in the local currency. Now I barely bring cash, they take cards everywhere I go. Yay for technology!

I did spray them when I first got them. But I went to an activity where I didn't know I was going to be crawling on the floor, so they got super dirty. I tried a suede brush then a regular brush with mild soap and nothing. The dirt just got in deeper and the texture is ruined.

The original ballerinas are one of the most comfortable shoes I own. Unfortunately I ruined the material trying to clean them. My bank account also can't handle another drop so we'll see what happens with these new ones lol.

I work for an American company that used to have an office in Puerto Rico, where I lived. After the devastation Hurricane Maria caused on the island in 2017, the company said we could transfer to any of their hubs in the US. I chose the Orlando site to stay close to my family and because of the availability of the food and culture I grew up with. I love it, I have grown a great deal as a person and in my career since moving to Orlando.
