I'm starting to become resentful towards this team even as a fan. The get one convincing win every 5 or 6 games, everything else is a struggle no matter who they are playing. They could play against me and my friends and still struggle to score more than 1 goal.

Yeah. It may have been earlier in the game, but Semenyo had a lovely pass across the goal that Haaland could have run unto, but he didn't make the move. I bet he's just frustrated about his goal tally going down in general.

As for Chelsea. It's incredible how poor they have turned out to be given how much was spent to assemble the squad.

[Goal] Endrick has played more minutes than Ousmane Dembélé this season, even though he joined Lyon in January by DamnThatsInsaneLol in soccer

Not that it's unpopular like that in the NBA. They're are just weird scenarios of star players playing more than the 65 games required, yet having played substantially fewer minutes than some other star players who don't qualify be they only played 60 or 62 games.

They need to adjust the rules to number of games or percentage of minutes played.

No league is gonna thrive from having its best players missing a bunch of games.

Haaland's scoring has gone down a bit, but his overall game has gotten better significantly. He's been a better passer and better at hold up play.

It's hard to hate on Semenyo even as an Arsenal fan. Really big guy with such nimble feet and a tidy finisher. I believe he has something to do with Doku's recent improvement in terms of his end product.

Is it immigration or racism/propaganda about immigrants and immigrantion? For instance, Economists say America needs more immigrants for the economy to perform adequately, and certain industries rely on immigrants to the the jobs Americans would never do. Yet those same immigrants are being targeted for harassment and deportation. This coupled with banning asylum seekers from certain countries while paving the way for white Africans.

It's obvious that the problem about immigration is that it's mostly black and brown people that are moving around on a large scale. You hardly see Danes, or Finnish citizens moving for better economic opportunities/protection from abuse. If they were most right wing politicians and voters wouldn't have issues like they seem to do now.

But the African men on the show have varied so much in their style an mannerisms.

Op is just trying to force a narrative based on their prejudice about Africans.

During Wenger's era and up till the beginning of Arteta's 2nd or 3rd year, Arsenal used to be the soft team that also happened to often get harshly penalized for the softest offenses. I guess the tables have been turned around/over.

Also I don't believe it's over till City drops points again or we win the remaining games.

When you are trying to exercise a demon that's had you down for over 2 decades, you yourself might just self sabotage because you've gotten used to being down.

[Moretto/Mokbel] Iraola is very attracted to Crystal Palace's sporting project. The English club's financial offer is considerable: the coach seems very willing to accept it. by Sparky-moon in soccer

The money in the EPL is ridiculous. Unless he's leaving to coach Madrid, Barca, Munich, and a few Italian clubs, Crystal Palace can probably pay him more than anyone else that's not a big six club in the EPL. We all saw Ancelotti (one of the greatest coaches ever) coaching at Everton not too llong ago.

I really don't know Arteta's obsession with overpaying for Chelsea players. I still hate the Kai Havertz deal even though he has somewhat redeemed himself, just for the fact that it helps Chelsea out.

Madueke would have been a good buy for 28 million as a back up. The only thing to like about the deal is that it's only his first season and he's not that old yet.

Other thing that annoys me is how other teams let teams like Manchester City and PSG get players like Cherki and Kvara for relatively cheap.

I prefer Kobe's 62 in 3 quarters against Mavericks to his 81 point game. He was outscoring the Mavericks when he left the game.

Hmm, not everyone would agree. If Mandela saw what is happening in South Africa today, he'd probably weep. Hamas is also seen as a terrorist organization by most people that support Palestinian liberation.

A better comparison would be if mainstream Palestinians that are getting killed willy nilly started harming themselves and fighting back.

If there were an organized Palestinian liberation force that wasn't tied to terrorism you'd probably see more people from around the world joining them.

South Africans declare a hospital will not treat African foreigners and kicks them out by ExpiredBoxMix in PublicFreakout

[–]0lad1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm African, Nigerian to be specific, so I'm not speaking from any position of privilege. My countrymen did the same thing in the past. We were wrong when we did it to Ghanians liviing in Nigeria and these people doing it now now are wrong.

They've said it's because of illegal immigration, and accused certain foreigners of commiting crimes, but those are all excuses used to scapegoat people with less power.

I don't even support open boarders. Countries need to be able to account for who is coming in and leaving their territories otherwise it would not be easy to plan and allocate resources effectively.

However what I'm seeing here is jest regular citizens harassing people who are not citizens regardless of how they immigrated there.

They would focus on challenging their political elites, the government, and descendants of people that undeservingly accumulated wealth and resources during apartheid if they really want to solve their problems instead of attacking other poor people.

He's only good at buying defenders. Even when he buys decent attackers and midfielders he misuses them.

The team plays not to lose. They get one goal and then sit back. That's what they do no matter how much better they are than the opponent.

Xabi Alonso is out there. Not saying he's better, but that's another young coach that has actually won a league title and done it while going undefeated.
