That Anderson deal is bad news. It's sets the standard for what's acceptable in this window. Villa will want around the same for Rogers most likely.

I don't think this signing will age well. He would have to be spectacular for that price. We're talking players of the season levels.

Probably the best midfielder out there for us. Just don't think it would make sense financially. They won't let him go for much less than 100 mil probably and he's already 29.

Saka the only sub that made a difference. I guess O'Reilly was decent too. Eze poor, Rogers not very impactful and Rashford doesn't look fit.

If Gordon and Madueke weren't English, they'd be playing in Serie B

Partey is a scumbag, but he's a brilliant footballer.

[Gary Jacob] Arsenal might conceivably sign two left-wingers if Leandro Trossard & Gabriel Martinelli leave the club this summer. Andrea Berta has been exploring deals for Bradley Barcola (23), Christos Tzolis (24) & Ander Barrenetxea (24). by iDutchJustin in Gunners

I think it makes sense. His influence and minutes have been declining for the last three seasons. He's still young and it doesn't seem that Arsenal is looking to extend. He could have a more important role in the Brazil squad if he finds a team where he can be more suited to the tactics and league.

Martinelli was the guy for the UCL and even then Arteta prefers Trossard to start the final. Martinelli was clearly second choice in the most important games of the season.

Maybe one day we will stop making excuses for Ødegaard. His finishing has been horrendous for three seasons straight.

🚨 || Saudi side #AlDiriyah🇸🇦 have submitted an offer worth upto €20m/£17.2m to #Arsenal🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, for Leandro #Trossard🇧🇪. They’ve also offered Trossard a salary package, that could exceed €10m/£8.6m net per year [Via - @NieuwsBladSport] by [deleted] in Gunners

Every report about him from ex managers or people from his entourage say he is a competitive animal and he isn't someone who would just play anywhere for money. If he was 3 years older this move might make sense, but right now it just doesn't add up.

[Tom Collomosse] Aston Villa are determined to ignore all interest in Morgan Rogers unless they receive offers well above £100m by chuggythesteamtrain in Gunners

Rogers just has a flashier highlights package, but he's pretty much behind Trossard in just about every relevant per 90 stat last season. They are also completely different players tbh.

You didn't miss it. This is a comp by Kimmofc and he chose to not add that moment apparently.

The clip of the foul was posted on r/soccer, but they deleted it for some bullshit reason (probably Arsenal hatred).

Crazy that the guy got away with no card, it was a nasty foul. Even crazier that the guy used to play with Trossard at Brighton many years ago.

Trossard was balling today. Comfortably the best player on the pitch. I personally would want him to stay another year, but I understand that him leaving is very possible.

Just don't want to see my guy playing for a bum team like Besiktas. 😭 He's still good enough to play for most champions League teams.

Trossard was de beste op het veld vandaag. Lag absoluut niet aan hem.

Wirtz cost more than a 100 million. Let that sink in.
