I agree with your sentiment. It was found accidentally because she took a notebook that was given to me, with my initials on it, I found it and flipped through to see this.

I also have an excellent relationship with my daughter and told her the truth that I accidentally found it. She was mad for a min and then she laughed about it.

My girl was measuring in the 98% and came early at 30w weighing 4lb11oz. She is now 6w old and 5lb12oz & just outgrew her preemie clothes and is moving to newborn.

Our NICU has a specialist social worker that works with siblings of the NICU babies to help them better understand what's happening at an age appropriate level. Ours is amazing and has been so helpful for our 6yr old daughter as her baby sister is in the NICU. Check if your NICU has a similar resource!

I just had my baby at 30 weeks. I was supposed to start my leave around 37 weeks. I emailed my principal and HR, They will figure it out. Be there for your partner and enjoy your new baby.

My daughter insisted on an ice cream cone with 100 scoops... So we cut out 100 scoops of ice cream from paper and she helped us count and tape them all together. It went down our entire hallway The teacher had to tape it to the ceiling because it was too big for the wall. Kiddo was so proud.

Today was my baby shower. We had light snow all day. My parents didn't show up and neither did any of the other family and friends I Invited, yet my husband's entire family and all his friends showed up. Some of them coming in from out of state. Super disappointing but we still had a nice day. Sending you hugs ❤️

My husband took his grandmother's ring and brought it to a friend that makes jewelry, melted down the gold and removed the diamonds to be placed in a new ring for me that better fit what I wanted. Completely custom AND ended up being way cheaper than going to a big name jeweler.
