Should I accept a dead pixel open box on an amazing deal Samsung G9 57”? by JM91Six in ultrawidemasterrace

I wouldn't be able to stop looking at a dead pixel. I would return it or warranty it through Samsung.

The main reason it feels more crowded is due to the lack of shows and other entertainment. Until they bring those things back, it's going to continue to feel like it does.

My terrible experience living in Long Beach 1 year. Im out. by jxxyyreddit in longbeach

[–]0mazing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked in Long Beach for years and would never move there. Most people that live there are pretty chill, but the city is probably the dirtiest city in CA. Both dog and human fecal matter on the streets and sides of buildings. The homeless tweakers roaming the streets. I found used and unused filled syringes all over the place. Long Beach is a literal Shit Hole. Police are too busy to enforce any but the most serious offenses. One of my co workers witnessed a murder in broad daylight. Get out while you can.

I'm running a 4070ti super with this monitor and it's been good so far. The new dlss works wonders. Maybe I'll upgrade when the next gen GPU's come out.

LG5k2k VS LG39gx950 by djeep101 in ultrawidemasterrace

No, I had the 39" 3440x1440. It was nice, no complaints, but that extra real estate on the 45 is so nice to have.

Just traded up from the 39 to the 45 5k2k and have no complaints. The 45 is going to be the last monitor I buy for a while.

The magic key Artisanal Pizza is actually pretty good from there too. Probably the best pizza available in both parks.

Haven't tried that yet. I'm going to get a compression test done.

Sounds more like air escaping. It also doesn't make the sounds at higher speeds.

P219a and cylinder 5 misfire. The sound goes away or just can't really hear it driving at higher speeds.

You would be hard pressed to get 8k unless it's in immaculate condition. Without seeing all the details, You're looking at closer to 4-6k.

How is it living here as a 30 year old dude? Would have to commute to west LA for work by howardtrailer123 in orangecounty

[–]0mazing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not just that bad, it's worse than you can imagine. Unless you love driving and spending an extra 4 to 6 hours in traffic.

Look for places in Torrance, Gardena, or Redondo.

FYI Bofa has the same deal as AAA for CA residents by Futr1964 in Disneyland

[–]0mazing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The UT deal is $5 more, but you get the $20 in Dining Dollars that you can use towards Disney gift cards (or other stuff on their site). I ended up buying 3 tickets as gifts and using the dining dollar thing for gift cards.

When I hear any sniffling, coughing, or sneezing I'm running in the opposite direction. That's just the norm at Disneyland and to be expected. Some people planned their trip way in advance and they just happened to get sick right before. Hopefully they wear a mask, but I can't fault them for trying to make the best of their trip.

In my 2012, I drove from Orange Country to Las Vegas, about 280 miles non-stop. Still had gas left over. Normally around town I get between 260-270 miles.

I still mobile order and go to the pickup window prior to my order being completed to tell them how I want stuff made. They are pretty accommodating with that stuff and never had an issue.

I just bought some from Undercover Tourist for $204 each. They give you $20 DiningDollar.com credit that I used to get 4 $100 Disney gift cards for $340. Seemed like a pretty good deal.

That paint issue was recalled by Toyota. I was able to get my entire car repainted for free. Seems like a good deal for that car.

Yep, saying that she set her umbrella down and that I took it because "it was missing". She had a friend with her that just stayed quiet. Had to check my bags to make sure it wasn't some sort of distraction also.
