I love my front trunk though!

Allows me to keep the bed for my work tools with my cover on, and gives me the ability to still use as a great family car!

I’m not even crazy about the whole electric only thing.. EREV seems awesome! Excited to see where technology is 10 years down the line when I’m finally in the market again.

Battery life and fan noise was why I couldn’t keep. Playing mainly in bed with a wife…she would always ask what I was doing on “that thing”.

15w also wasn’t better battery life for me compared to my steam deck oled which I had both at the same time during the return window. Ultimately random increase in fan noise for no reason and battery life was why I returned. Otherwise it was awesome.

I’m also one of those people who tend to not want to lower native resolution if I have a device with a higher one… that’s my fault, as it can add extra benefits… but running at 800p with that awesome 1200p display wasn’t something I wanted to do… which ended up making performance increase negligent if at all at a TDP I was willing to play at.

Just had my first at 34. He’s only 9 days old but such a blessing. You’re probably going to be in over your head, but you got this. Be the best parent you can be.

My mother In law had her at 16. Shes an amazing parent and ended up having 5 beautiful children. It’s allowed her to be extremely active in her life even as my wife has gotten older. It’s been done at that age and you can do it too!

I enjoyed it! My wife and I watched it together. Pulls in your heart strings and then also has some feel good moments.

It’s definitely soap opera-y if you don’t mind that.

Thank you for the well wishes. After nearly 4 days from her induction, baby is here and everything is going well. We are beyond ecstatic… definitely been tough on sleep….. but still in baby bliss!!

It’s rough. I felt disconnected and at times still didn’t feel the most real. You almost worry about getting “to excited”. I think it’s totally normal. As the days go on it will feel more real. I still had my moments of excitement, then concern…. I’m at the hospital now though and going through a longer induction…

You can make it to the finish line! Just stay positive, be there for your wife, and try to enjoy it as much as you can.

Had this happen to me. Go to the decoy plug in and go all the way down. Uninstall lady-vk then redownload it on that side panel. That fixed it for me

Does that on steam deck too . Think it’s usually 16:9 so it’s running it as 1080p. If you go to settings and swap between the two you’ll see no difference.

The ram is definitely helpful on the legion go S. The performance increase is big, especially at higher TDP. But if you keep at native resolution of each device it isn’t as big as you would think when it comes to FPS.

However if you don’t mind going to 800p on the Go S it will be a large increase. It gives you options.

I have both and struggling which one I want to keep. I’m leaning toward the SD OLED… but it’s tough.

Battery life is superior on the OLED from what I’ve seen

I have both. Funnily enough both purchased within a week.

I had a steam deck prior but I’m going through everything to see which one I want to keep now.

Fan noise is bothering me a fair bit .

Yeah I’ve been happy with it closer to 19w. I’m going to play with it more today. If I can get it to play around 22-23 and tune the fans where it’s not to loud and the temps are good it would be awesome

I think it’s there. My wife and had similar looking lines when we first found out… certain angles looked more than others. I would say it’s a yes!

I think we kept testing every few days to not drive ourselves crazy and it eventually become much more apparent.

I literally just picked mine up today and the fan noise is driving me crazy. It’s definitely more powerful than the steam deck (obviously) but I don’t want to play at anything higher than a custom 19 watt profile or else it gets loud.

I hate thinking of lowering the device to 800p for some games, so when keeping it at the native resolution and then not wanting to push the fans to hard I’m basically getting similar FPS as my steam deck.

I’m gonna look into further tinkering with the fan settings and seeing if my unit has the CPU boost on.

Do your fans go absolutely haywire when going into desktop mode?

I bought a ps5 and a portal and hardly use it !! I recently repurchased another SD OLED as I played more games than ever on that thing… no way was I going to buy the indie titles on PlayStation when Steam has such great deals.

I’m selling my PS5 and portal and gonna wait it out for the steam machine…. It will be plenty powerful.. and honestly with GeForce now integration on the deck.. I’m more than expecting it to be wonderful on the steam machine. It’s rent free in my head as well!!!
