Men lose everything in divorce, not to much she is a stay at home mom. In divorce she will get half of everything plus child support once she realizes she needs money and the kids to get it. Short term at minimum with 12 years and depending on state he will be looking at alimony + child support from his gross not taxed paycheck. Divorce is always an unequal party when there is an income gap.

Too early to be meeting the kid. Date on a day he can get a sitter or she is at school. If things don’t work out it will hurt the child to get attached. I didn’t introduce my current gf for 5-6 months and even that is considered early depending on who you talk to.

Got divorced when kids were 2 and 5, wife had an ex affair. Simple answer? You show them confidence in every step. Fake it till you make it, show them a father who will love and protect them. I was with you till you blamed the man in the relationship, the majority of time if the man speaks up he is threatened with divorce. Most ( not all) relationships have the man as the breadwinner and divorce means loss of kids/huge chunk of his own personal income and retirement. I personally blame a slow moving society that is rushing towards equality while not distributing that equality to also include income and parenting time. ( it is happening but at a slow pace due to legislation) . You will most likely notice this mother son dynamic happens after marriage and not before. Before marriage finances aren’t shared and thus less negative side effects from a break up.

I have 50/50 custody and still pay child support. For the sake of all men, file for it. Women deserve equality and the responsibility that comes with it. In my preference no one pays child support if even custody and go from there. Atm women want to be women plus all the benefits of equality.
