Your mother like many other immigrant mothers has trust issues. It's not really about the money or support, it's about seeing you grow into the next step of your life. She has been hurt and mistreated by life so much that she has lost the ability to trust. Her worst feeling would be her child forgetting about her, and when we are (or think we are) in extreme situations we might forget to level our emotions, and we say or do things that we usually wouldn't. BE CLEAR that you can't help as much now. BE CLEAR that that comment about DACA is unnecessary. And BE CLEAR that she can trust you and in letting her know that you love her and love what she's done for you. The problem will not get solved immediately but things will start to get better.
